Kameleo, the visual-kei rock band embodying an “ever-changing” style in their music and appearance, unveiled the full version of the music video for their new single “Blooming of Destiny DISCO” yesterday on YouTube.
This song was written to give those who face environmental changes day after day a boost. The song, titled “Blooming of Destiny DISCO”, is brought up by the image of the Japanese historic adoption of Western culture and its modernization beginning from the mid-1800s, and this is made even more clear by their rich EDM sound.
Kameleo perfectly merge Japanese traditional fashion and with a more modern style in their music video. Women wearing kimono, the Japanese traditional clothing, dance under a disco ball with jazzy laser beams and intriguingly the Kameleo members fight with muscular men while wearing hakama in the music video.
