Holding the concept of “MADE IN JAPAN” close to heart, shoes of this series are even partially handmade.
A professional dyer dyes the upper. Each layer of leather is individually dyed with the utmost care until the perfect colour is attained. By using natural dyes, and by dying by hand, a subtle characteristic colour spotting is produced. No chemicals are used during this process. The more the upper is dyed, the deeper the colour. This series comes in two available colours – light and dark indigo
The entire shoemaking process is carried out with the utmost care and attention, from the cutting of the uppers to the sewing and assembly of the shoes. Every stage of the process, including the finishing touches, are carried out in Japan. These are truly authentic shoes that shine with the excellence of Japan.

ASICS Tiger Japan have collaborated with the Disney franchise “Snow White” to release 3 new pairs of limited edition trainers: two pairs of “GEL-LYTE” and one pair of “GEL-LYTE GS.”
To commemorate the 80th anniversary of Disney’s first full-length animated movie, ASICS have created special model shoes that capture the image of the titular princess.
There are two “GEL-LYTE” designs. One model features Snow White’s cape on the shoe’s upper in a burgundy colour. The big ribbon is made of velvet and is removable. The insole has an apple print to complete this pair of Snow White-esque trainers.
The other model uses black as the main colour on its upper and a huge golden crown on the tongue. The inside of the shoe is purple, only adding to the regal and queenly design of this model.
Finally, the “GEL-LYTE GS” model is aimed at kids. They are themed around the seven dwarfs: Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy and Dopey. The uppers of each pair correspond to the colours worn by each dwarf. The insoles are also fitted with the character designs.ASICS has an established reputation for its easy-to-wear footwear. A sports life style brand “ASICS tiger” will release collaborative items with one of the most famous select shop in Japan “BEAMS” and a sneaker shop which sells sneakers to the world from Ueno, Tokyo “mita sneakers!”
The collaborative items include shoes and apparel items (four items in total) and all of the items are created based on the motif of “velour sukajan” (Japanese jacket with lots of stitches).
A delicately colored pair of shoes “GEL-LYTE III” is made of navy-colored velour and has stitched illustrations of dragons and the letters “Japan” in an original font, on both heel parts.
With regards to their apparel items, they are selling a long-sleeve T-shirt with an original graphic of a dragon illustrated on both sleeves and a hoody and pants made of navy velour.
