First Generation Pokémon Kids Toys to Receive Re-Release in December

13.June.2018 | ANIME&GAME

Pokémon Kids is a toy and candy brand that has been around since 1996 and is soon to break 300 million sales. Bandai are bringing back a line-up of First Generation Pokémon which will go on sale at convenience stores across Japan from December.

Bandai Pokémon Kids are sets that come with one small Pokémon toy and ramune flavoured chewing gum. The toy and candy line was released in 1996 and the first to make Pokémon into 3D figures after Nintendo’s Pokemon Red and Green were released for the Game Boy®

Since then, they have released the set for 735 different Pokémon. Their products have been enjoyed for 21 years by today’s young generation.

Before they break sales of 300 million units, Bandai are holding a Pokémon Kids questionnaire on their official website where fans can vote for their favourite Pokémon from the original 151. The results will determine the line-up of Pokémon Kids toys to be re-released.

Whether you’re an older seasoned Pokémon trainer or a late bloomer new to the First Generation, now’s your chance to catch Pokémon from the original 151.
