Pokémon is the Theme of UNIQLO’s 2019 Global T-Shirt Design Competition

Submissions for UNIQLO’s t-shirt design competition UT GRAND PRIX 2019 will open worldwide on October 23. This will be the competition’s 14th run, and the theme is Pokémon. Artists are free to submit their designs from any media from the franchise whether it’s the anime, games or even Pokémon GO.

The first place winner of the competition will win a cash prize of $10,000 and their winning design will be released under UT’d spring and summer collection in 2019 at UNIQLO stores worldwide and on their online store. T-shirts will be made as a full line-up for men, women and kids.

 

Additionally, the top three winners will be invited to Tokyo for the award ceremony and also invited to the 2019 Pokémon World Championships taking place in Washington D.C. in the summer of next year.

 

Submissions are also now being accepted via smartphones and tablets allowing for easier and more accessible participation. More details regarding this year’s UT GRAND PRIX will be made available on the official website in the near future so be sure to keep up to date.
