It has been announced that the new song Tsuyogari Loser by all-female band ЯeaL will be used as the new ending theme for the hit ongoing anime series Boruto: Naruto Next Generations from January 2019. The song comes as the next in a string of anime themes the band have provided for popular series including Kagerou which was used as the opening theme for season four of Gintama and Mirai Connection which was used as the third opening theme for Pokémon Sun & Moon.
Tsuyogari LOSER was written and composed entirely by vocalist and guitarist Ryoko. It’s described as a song to cheer on the people fighting every day.
ЯeaL will perform the new song for the first time at their special event ЯeaL Яock Яevolution vol.7 on December 22 at TSUTAYA O-EAST in Shibuya, Tokyo. Those who purchase the CD at this event will receive an exclusive gift.
Speaking about the song, Ryoko said: “I am very honoured to have been given the opportunity to write the ending theme for a series I have always loved! I have followed both the manga and anime. I wrote this song to cheer on all the people who are fighting every day. The song aims to recognise the strength in people who make mistakes, worry and feel pain but try not to let anyone see their weakness. I believe I was able to write lyrics the way that ЯeaL does that shows Boruto’s strength and weaknesses. Whether you love Boruto or ЯeaL, please look forward to hearing the song!”
