Manga Series ’10 Count’ About Someone Living With OCD to Receive Anime Adaptation

It has been announced that Rihito Takarai’s popular BL manga series 10 Count―which has sold over 2.2 million copies―is getting an anime adaptation in 2020. The series, written and illustrated by Takarai, was serialised in Dear+ from 2013 to 2017.

 

The story follows Shirotani Tadaomi, a sufferer of obsessive-compulsive disorder that manifests into mysophobia. He meets Kurose Riku, a psychotherapist who recommends Shirotani to write down 10 things he is unable to do as a form of exposure and response prevention therapy.

 

A teaser was released on PONY CANYON’s official YouTube channel.

 

A key visual was also unveiled showcasing both characters.
