Actress Haruka Fukuhara To Make Solo Debut With Ending Song for BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS

11.June.2019 | ANIME&GAME / MUSIC

It has been announced that Haruka Fukuhara will be making her debut as a solo artist for Sony Music Associated Records with the new ending song for the anime BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS. Her debut song Mikansei na Hikaritachi (The Incomplete Lights) was picked out as the perfect song to end each episode of the anime. It will be released on August 7th.

Fukuhara became very popular at the start of this year for her impressive performance in the drama Mr. Hiiragi’s Homeroom. She has appeared in many shows and films, including 4-gatsu no Kimi, Spica and Kakegurui, for which she played the leading roles. She was also the third generation guide on the show MOSHIMO TOURS. She is now more of a hot sensation than ever before.

When she was younger, she played the leading role of Main Hiiragi in the show Cooking Idol Ai! Mai! Main! and even sung the show’s opening theme song. In 2013, she was the character voice behind the song Nameko no Uta, which became very popular. Last year, she appeared with actress Haruka Tomatsu on the show Koe Girl!. Since then, Tomatsu and Fukuhara released songs together under the name Haruka Tomatsu X Haruka Fukuhara. Haruka Fukuhara was previously only ever involved in music from time to time, but now she is going full on with her new release.

The single visuals have been released along with the information on her debut. Now that she is debuting solo, there’s no doubt that the song is going to have a completely different feeling to the rest of her songs. It is no surprise that the tension is rising while we wait!

Haruka Fukuhara’s statement:

I have been given the responsibility of singing the ending theme song for the wonderful anime BORUTO. I just cannot express my happiness. I am truly honoured. I am going to give it my all when I sing ー not just for the sake of representing the anime, but to also provide those watching with strength and courage, and energize them. Please listen to my song!

It has been announced that the new song Tsuyogari Loser by all-female band ЯeaL will be used as the new ending theme for the hit ongoing anime series Boruto: Naruto Next Generations from January 2019. The song comes as the next in a string of anime themes the band have provided for popular series including Kagerou which was used as the opening theme for season four of Gintama and Mirai Connection which was used as the third opening theme for Pokémon Sun & Moon.

Tsuyogari LOSER was written and composed entirely by vocalist and guitarist Ryoko. It’s described as a song to cheer on the people fighting every day.

Speaking about the song, Ryoko said: “I am very honoured to have been given the opportunity to write the ending theme for a series I have always loved! I have followed both the manga and anime. I wrote this song to cheer on all the people who are fighting every day. The song aims to recognise the strength in people who make mistakes, worry and feel pain but try not to let anyone see their weakness. I believe I was able to write lyrics the way that ЯeaL does that shows Boruto’s strength and weaknesses. Whether you love Boruto or ЯeaL, please look forward to hearing the song!”
