Granblue Fantasy The Animation Season 2 OP Theme to be Performed by Seven Billion Dots

Seven Billion Dots is a three-piece Japanese rock band made up of vocalist Masafumi, guitarist Ken and drummer Lyo. It has been announced that the band will perform the opening theme for the upcoming second season of Granblue Fantasy The Animation which will begin airing next month.

 

The song, Stay With Me, is taken from their 4-track major debut EP of the same name which will be released by Sony Music Labels on December 11, 2019.

 

Since forming in February 2018 the band has enjoyed great success, performing at big music events including Summer Sonic Festival 2018 as well as RO JACK and COUNTDOWN JAPAN 18/19 at the end of the year. Back in spring this year, their song Harukaze was used as the theme song for the television show Minna no Koshien on MBS as well as for the 91st Senbatsu High School Baseball on MBS and GAORA. In summer, their track A Piece of The World was used in a commercial for Hokkaido Kagakudaigakukoto School. The band released their first indies mini album pieces in July.

 

The season two opening theme Stay With Me is a grand rock tune with a story set against a vast blue sky. The song is produced by Satori Shiraishi who has helped put out countless hits, collaborating with the likes of SMAP, Nogizaka46, and more.

 

You can hear the song in the latest PV for the anime series below. The anime edit version of the track will receive an early independent release on October 5.

The stream will go live at 18:30 on YouTube straight after the initial anime broadcast. There’s no doubt that the livestream will be a grand-scale festival for fans, connecting viewers in celebration.

    Seven Billion Dots released their major debut EP Stay With Me on Wednesday, and it’s been revealed that the title track Stay With Me has shot up to No. 1 on Japan’s national radio charts.

    Stay With Me features as the opening theme for season two of the ongoing TV anime series GRANBLUE FANTASY The Animation.

  • New GRANBLUE FANTASY The Animation S2 Ending Song Performed By Moka Kamishiraishi (adieu)

    On September 6, actress Moka Kamishiraishi officially announced her exciting music project adieu on her personal Twitter account. The music video for the project’s song Tsuyogari became a sensation on YouTube. Although it has been just three weeks since the upload, comments on her gentle voice and the beautiful video are flooding in and viewer numbers are still on the rise. 

    Hit anime series GRANBLUE FANTASY announced on social media that the ending theme song for their upcoming season GRANBLUE FANTASY The Animation Season 2 will be called “Ao” and will be performed by adieu. The new season will debut at 12 am on Friday October 4th this year. Moka Kamishiraishi added a comment to this exciting news saying, “adieu’s new song was chosen as the ending theme song for season two. Please look forward to hearing it.”

     

    Moka Kamishiraishi is constantly producing exciting content so don’t take your eyes off her for a second.

  • Tokyo’s Anime & Game Concept Hotel Announces Collaboration With Granblue Fantasy

    Sunshine City Prince Hotel is currently collaborating with the anime and game media franchise King of Prism and the video game DREAM!ing to rave reviews on the hotel’s IKEPRI25 floor.

     

    The hotel has just announced that its third collaboration will be with the popular RPG video game Granblue Fantasy which will arrive in early November.

    IKEPRI25 is located on the hotel’s 25th floor and operates as a “concept floor.” Decked out with 20 rooms and 4 lounges, the floor is every anime, manga and game fan’s paradise as it themes its room on many different titles. The floor is produced in co-operation with Tokyo Otaku Mode Inc.

     

    Granblue Fantasy is a fantasy role-playing game for Android, iOS, and web browser. It launched in 2014 and is available to play in both English and Japanese. The game features music by legendary composer Nobuo Uematsu who is known worldwide for his work on the Final Fantasy series. A new title, Granblue Fantasy Versus, developed by Arc System Works (Guilty Gear series; BlazBlue series).
