The Street Fighter exhibition “Street Fighter: Ore Yori Tsuyoi Yatsura no Sekai Ten” (Street Fighter Exhibition: The World of Those Stronger Than Me) was originally scheduled to run from March 14 to May 24 but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. However, it has been announced that the exhibition has been rescheduled and will take place from July 1 to September 22.
A ticket system is in place where attendees need to book a time and date in advance as a precaution against the novel coronavirus. Tickets can be bought in advance from the exhibition’s official website.
Street Fighter is a fighting video game franchise developed and published by Capcom. The first game was released in 1987 for arcades. Street Fighter II was released in 1991 is hailed as a landmark title in the series and would set the standard of fighting games that followed. The latest instalment to the series, Street Fighter V, was released in 2016, with Street Fighter V: Champion Edition following in 2019.
The Street Fighter exhibition is set to display treasured documents and art pieces from the franchise, as well as showcase a cabinet of the arcade games. With full support and cooperation from Capcom, the exhibition is a must-visit for all fans of the influential fighting game.

Starting March 4, the permanent museum teamLab Forest Fukuoka will transform its artwork into a stunning spring theme. Guests will be able to enjoy gorgeous cherry blossoms for a limited time, and starting March 24, the Catching and Collecting Forest will also be transformed in the same way.

Starting September 23, teamLab Forest Fukuoka will be transformed for the autumn season! The interactive digital art installation will feature animals made entirely of fall foliage, and guests can enjoy red and orange leaves fluttering through the one-of-a-kind 3D world. teamLab’s prolific works are known for changing with the seasons. This autumn version of the popular exhibition will only be on display for a limited time, and visitors can use their smartphones in the Catching and Collecting Forest to catch and collect the animals on display! The forest and ocean scenery will change as you explore, and starting on September 23, the trees will begin to show off beautiful autumn colors.
In the Forest of Movement, guests can enter the ‘Shifting Valley, Living Creatures of Flowers, Symbiotic Lives’ exhibit, where creatures made of autumn flowers exist in a three-dimensional space. The space is meant to make guests think about the cycle of death and rebirth, as flowers blossom and die each and every year. The ‘Soft Terrain and Granular Topography’ will display tons of colorful grains raining down on visitors, while the ‘Flutter of Butterflies, Ephemeral Life’ will change the usual butterflies to have autumn colors as they fly around guests. Street Fighter II will collaborate with a commercial facility for the first time in history! The beloved fighting game will take over Abeno Q’s Mall in Osaka from October 1 until October 31, 2022. Popular characters from the game will appear all over the premises, and visitors will be able to take part in unique games to win exclusive prizes. There are also a number of interesting challenges that will pop up around Abeno Q's Mall. At the entrance, visitors will be greeted by Ryu and Ken, the main characters from Street Fighter II, as they unleash their Hadouken. Guests will be able to take pictures with Ryu with a special AR Photo Spot, and characters and stages from the title will appear around the mall. A participatory game event, Street Fighter Challenge, will be available for customers spending ¥3,000 or more (including tax). These customers will actually be able to test their Street Fighter skills, with winners winning a ¥500 yen mall gift card if they are victorious. Jewelry brand Tasaki has announced a special collaboration pop-up with the popular manga Chainsaw Man from September 7 until September 13, 2022 at KIRAMEKI BOARD on the first floor of the Iwataya Department Store in Fukuoka. The pop-up is being held to celebrate new items in the ‘danger’ line, one of Tasaki’s new iconic items. At the venue, guests can peruse a selection of Tasaki’s fine jewelry, including the new ‘danger’ collection which was inspired by the beauty of insectivorous plants. This is a perfect mix with Chainsaw Man, which has captivated audiences around the world with its unique plot, savage content, and one-of-a-kind characters. Special visuals of the main characters wearing jewelry from the ‘danger’ collection will be on display, drawn by the original author of the series Tatsuki Fujimoto. Also on display at the venue will be a special Pochita figure, whose chainsaw will be lavishly set with pearls.

Street Fighter 6, the next installment of the classic Capcom fighting series, is teaming up with Japanese shoe company Onitsuka Tiger. This marks the second collaboration between Capcom and Onitsuka Tiger, following the release of the Street Fighter V Arcade Edition collab shoes in 2019. The two are committed to impacting culture and feel strong ties to their Japanese roots, honoring the classic ways while being inspired by modern style.
New visuals of Chun-Li and Kimberly, a new character scheduled to appear in Street Fighter 6, have been created for the collaboration. In this tag team featuring an old and new character, Chun-Li wears Onitsuka Tiger's iconic MEXICO 66 model shoes, while Kimberly wears the DELECITY model, combining the essence of classic kicks with the spirit of the here and now. A special T-shirt has also been created featuring these new visuals, so check out the Capcom online store eCAPCOM or visit the Capcom stores in Tokyo or Osaka to snag one. In addition, Onitsuka Tiger plans to sell collaborative items in the first half of 2023, featuring original visuals of Chun-Li and Kimberly drawn by Thai cartoonist Wisut Ponnimit.
