Enjoy cherry blossom viewing dressed in a kimono with the Moshi Moshi Kimono Salon limited period plan!
As the days continue to get warmer, it’s really starting to feel like spring, and that means that the best time to go cherry blossom viewing in Harajuku is smoothly approaching! Although the customary practice of sitting on a blanket beneath the blossoms, enjoying the view while chatting noisily with friends is hard to abandon, how about trying something new this year? Strolling the streets of Harajuku, taking the time to admire a beautiful scenery of cherry blossoms while wearing a Kimono – how does that sound?
This year, pop by the “MOSHI MOSHI Kimono salon”, which is located on the 2nd floor of MOSHI MOSHI BOX. Here you can rent a kimono and be photographed in front of a colourful paper door.
The cherry blossom-viewing plans offered this year are as follows:(Kimono and hair set: ￥4000 ※ Males: Kimono only: ￥3500)
Usually, the Kimono dressing session costs ￥4500 by itself, so this is a real bargain! This plan only lasts until 16th April 2017.
From classic to modern, there is a wide range of cute patterns to choose from. How about choosing the new cherry blossom pattern to match the occasion?
Enjoy a fun chat with the staff while being specially dressed in the kimono.
Togo Shrine is a magnificent location to experience the cherry blossoms of Harajuku. Walk to the end of Takeshita Street and the Shrine can be found opposite MOSHI MOSHI box. Enjoy hours of peace and calm, surrounded by a silent, lush forest.
The shrine is also used to set the scene for wedding photography, so there are many gorgeous spots on the shrine grounds!
The contrast between the colours of Mountain cherry blossom trees and Yoshino cherry trees make for a beautiful scenery.
Yoyogi park in Harajuku is also famous for its cherry blossom, however, the calm and peaceful atmosphere of Togo shrine, accompanied by the picturesque view of cherry blossoms provides a unique atmosphere to enjoy.
