Japan’s Online Music Festival ‘a-nation’ Announces Over 50 Artists to Perform

a-nation, a series of summer concerts held in Japan, is heading online for the first time for “a-nation online 2020” on August 29, 2020.

 

The online concert will have 5 different stages that concertgoers can tune into including three you have to pay to watch and two free ones. The festival has announced that over 50 artists will perform throughout the one-day concert.

 

The pay-to-watch stages will welcome performances from artists both from Japan and around Asia. Tickets are now on sale.

 

The free stages will be streamed on avex’s official YouTube channel and LINE account. Artists will be selling their own merch for the festival and fans can also get their hands on official a-nation online 2020 goods too. For more details, visit the official website.

    a-nation, a series of summer concerts held in Japan which has a record number of over 6.1 million attendees, is heading online for the first time for "a-nation online 2020."   a-nation is organised by Avex Group, the biggest independent record label in Japan, and was first held back in 2002. This year will mark its 19th run, and it will be streamed live for the first time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
