A special animation was released by Japanese confectionery company Lotte on Monday (February 1) as a commercial for their Ghana chocolate. The video, entitled “Ghana Gift,” features a collaboration with Japanese music artists Eve and suis from Yorushika.

The animation was directed by Nobutaka Yoda and written by Genki Kawamura, with character design by Kiyotaka Oshiyama. With the pandemic, it has become difficult to see loved ones and friends and many of us are unable to express our feelings to these special people in our lives directly. Lotte created the animation to promote the gift of giving this Valentine’s Day as a way of conveying ties to loved ones. The animation is 30 seconds long but a 4-minute version will be released in the near future.
The Animation’s Story
The story follows two children, a high schooler and middle schooler, who are neighbours. Both of them throw paper planes to each other with messages written on them to go shopping, make chocolate, and hang out. But the day before Valentine’s Day, we find out the girl has to move away, but before she does, she gives the boy chocolate. The two of them were always together, but they never expressed their love for each other.

Eve to Hold Largest-Ever Arena Tour in 2023, Unveils Limited Edition Jacket for Upcoming EP ‘Bokurano’
Singer-songwriter Eve has announced his biggest ever arena tour, Eve Arena Tour 2023 Kororon, along with a key visual. This will mark the artist’s first tour since the Eve Live Tour 2022, which also merited an additional performance at Nippon Budokan in August 2022. The arena tour will be held for two days at Osaka-Jo Hall in Osaka on August 19 and August 20 and at Pia Arena MM in Kanagawa on August 26 and August 27.
Eve has also released a limited edition jacket for his new Bokurano EP scheduled to be released on March 22, 2023. The EP contains the track Bokurano, the opening theme for the currently-airing season of My Hero Academia. The jacket art is an original drawing by the anime production company BONES.
All first edition copies of Bokurano will include a code that can be used to enter the lottery to snag tickets to the Eve Arena Tour 2023 Kororon.

The sixth opening song for the anime series My Hero Academia, Bokurano, was added to all major streaming services on January 8, 2023. The track is performed by popular artist Eve.

Popular singer Eve has released the music video for White Snow on his official YouTube channel. The track is being used as the theme song for the film Black Night Parade which opened in theaters on December 23, 2022. The music video was created by Haruka Fujita, known for her work on the Violet Evergarden anime series and film. CloverWorks helmed the animation production, and viewers will be pulled in by its natural landscapes and captivating characters. The Mine City Tourism Association has announced a Christmas & Valentine’s Day event at Akiyoshido Cave, one of the largest limestone caves in Japan. The event will see the natural wonder illuminated by a number of colorful lights. The Christmas event will run from December 21 to 25, 2022, while the Valentine’s Day event will run from February 10 to 14, 2023. Akiyoshido Cave is one of Yamaguchi Prefecture’s most popular tourist attractions. The interior will be decorated with colorful lights and unique soundscapes, creating a once-in-a-lifetime setting for visitors. These illuminations and sounds were directed by world-renowned lighting designer Motoko Ishii, known for her work on Tokyo Tower and the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge.
