BACK-ON Releases New Album Through British Music Label JPU Records

Japanese rock band BACK-ON is celebrating their 15th anniversary with the
release of a special 2-disc international edition of their new album FLIP SOUND
which will be released through the British music label JPU Records on April 30,
2021. The album was just released in Japan on February 17.

 

BACK-ON has garnered a large following outside of Japan, and now overseas fans will be able to support the band by purchasing this special self-cover edition of their latest record. This edition features lyric translations, transliterations, and other exciting content that fans won’t want to miss.

  • Chairoikoguma Market to Open at KIDDYLAND Osaka Umeda This Spring

    Japanese character goods and toy chain KIDDYLAND is collaborating with San-X, the creators of the iconic Rilakkuma and its friends, to open the Chairoikogumarché, a market themed on Chairoikoguma, at KIDDYLAND Osaka Umeda. It will be open for a limited time this spring from March 11 to 25.

    Chairoikoguma is a popular honey-loving bear character created by San-X who lives in the Honey Forest. This year marks the 5th anniversary since its debut.

     

    In 2018 and 2019, San-X opened the limited-time Korilakkuma Meets Chairoikoguma Store which was hugely popular amongst Rilakkuma fans, with repeat buyers returning multiple times. Chairoikogumarché was originally scheduled to open at KIDDYLAND Osaka Umeda in April 2020, but it was postponed and will now open next month. Once they book their attendance, fans can look forward to laying their eyes on original Chairoikoguma artwork coupled with phrases spoken in the Kansai dialect.   • VTuber Group Nijisanji Release Two Songs Simultaneously to Celebrate 3rd Anniversary

    The VTuber group Nijisanji are celebrating three years since their debut with the release of two new ones: PALETTE 001 – Wonder NeverLand and PALETTE 002 – Nijiiro no Puddle, both of which hit music streaming and download services on February 25, 2021.

    The first new song, PALETTE 001 – Wonder NeverLand, was produced by kz (livetune) who also wrote the song Virtual to LIVE for Nijisanji’s 1st anniversary. It was recorded live in a studio with wind and string instruments and features singing from 12 streamers.

     

    The second new song, PALETTE 002 – Nijiiro no Puddle, is performed by the internationally-beloved Japanese rock band FLOW. It’s a song about enjoying the here and now to the fullest, and also includes the voices of 12 streamers. This also marks the group’s first collaboration with FLOW, a band who is set to perform at Nijisanji Anniversary Festival 2021 on February 26, 2021.
