Kanjani Eight Appear in Morinaga Ice Cream’s New Commercial

Japanese confectionery company Morinaga released two new commercials on Saturday (March 20) for their popular Monaka Jumbo ice cream. The commercials feature Japanese boy band Kanjani Eight.

 

The first commercial, entitled Choco Mimi, sees the band members dressed in cute rabbit ears to promote the chocolate and vanilla flavours of Monaka Jumbo. It also features the band’s new song Sweet&Bitter which even features the lyric “vanilla.” The second commercial, entitled Ice Case, has the band members spoilt for choice on which flavour to go for, but ends up with them saying, “Why not both?”

    Kikkoman Foods has appointed the adorable characters from Pui Pui Molcar as ambassadors for Del Monte Vegetable Juice! A new CG commercial began airing nationwide on June 12, 2022. This is the third collaboration between Del Monte’s Vegetable Juice and Pui Pui Molcar   The commercial is getting fans excited for the newly-announced second season of Pui Pui Molcar, scheduled to air this autumn. It’s also the first official commercial showing the characters in CG. Mizuho Misato voices the presenter in the new commercial; the actress also played Potato in the series.

    I’m so happy that Del Monte is teaming up with Pui Pui Molcar again!The previous 2D animated web commercials were amazing, so when this project was starting to come together, I was shocked to find out that it would be made with CG!This is probably the first CG Del Monte commercial to date!Seeing my characters moving around on the screen, I immediately hoped that we could team up again in the future! This will also be the first time that Potato’s driver speaks! (My sister did the voice!)

    Truffles aren’t something most people eat every day, but TRUFULL TOKYO wants to change that. The casual truffle brand wants to combine this luxury ingredient with simple dishes to make it easier to chow down on this tasty treat more often, and now, their first product release has been announced! TRUFULL ICE CREAM, playfully created by a French chef, aims to give people a new view of what food can be.     The truffles aren’t the only thing that makes this ice cream special. The milk used to create it is gathered at Zao Provence Farm in Miyagi prefecture in the morning and processed the exact same day! After the ice cream is made, it is mixed with plenty of French black truffles, making a flavor like no other.    The upscale TRUFULL ICE CREAM, a perfect dessert for the discerning adult, is available at CARBON COFFEE in Fukuoka.

Superstar!! for a limited time between September 25 and October 21 2021, available at eight stores nationwide.         Roll Ice Cream Factory is a dessert and roll ice specialty store from New York that opened in Harajuku in 2017. It's delicious and colourful, attracting plenty of customers with their products - the longest queue recorded by the shop was seven hours long!   Love Live! Superstar!!, which is based on Harajuku, is now collaborating with the Harajuku-Omotesando store Roll Ice Cream Factory. The multimedia project is the latest from the Love Live! School Idol series, with an anime airing every Sunday on NHK E TV from July 2021. This new collaboration is based on the theme colors and favorite foods of five Love Live! Superstar!! members, with a menu of limited roll ice cream and drinks available to order. From strawberry and vanilla to matcha, there is plenty of variety in the special menu. Each ice cream and cold drink comes with a collaboration pick.  For people thinking "I can't eat that much at once," vouchers are available to purchase which allow you to buy collaboration merchandise at any time throughout the campaign. In addition to the cold drinks, two hot drinks will be available for takeout and served in collaboration takeout bags. If you're feeling chilly, these drinks will warm you right up! You will also be offered a fun themed coaster to use during the campaign. A free collaboration coaster will be provided with every item on the collaboration menu, picked randomly from 12 designs.     Hachiya, a Japanese tea cafe located in Setagaya, Tokyo, reopened on June 28 after undergoing renovations.

    Hachiya offers a new way to enjoy Japanese tea, serving it in a range of styles such as carbonated, as a tea latte, in smoothies, and more. It's located in Setagaya, a stylish and relaxed part of Shibuya that's surrounded by trees and plants and has become more talked about in recent years. Alongside the cafe's reopening, it has also introduced new items to the menu such as onigiri and animitsu which can be enjoyed together with a cup of tea.

    Other new menu items include a set of matcha and confections as well as four different ice cream flavours, all of which go perfect with Japanese tea.   The cafe has incorporated a new lightning system and has also introduced a special coating that uses photocatalysis which can eliminate up to 99% COVID-19, allowing for guests to enjoy their time there safely.
