Creator Ujita Mai and Vocaloid Producer 40mP Release First Song and Music Video

40mP is one of the most beloved Vocaloid producers, having released a number of smash hits over the years including Kakakuri Pierrot and Love Trial. On September 25, 2021, the artist released his first collaborative track with multifaceted creator Ujita Mai on streaming platforms. Her track Hitoriuta ~September How YOU doin’?~ has been a massive hit with young people on TikTok. 

 

The message of the duo’s track Tsuno (Horn) is the importance of meeting someone who can accept your individuality. 

 

The music video for the track will be uploaded to 40mP’s YouTube channel on October 16 at 21:00. The artwork and video were illustrated by Mikkun, who has also worked on videos for Honey Works and Amatsuki in the past.

As of June 21, 2023, the total number of videos using the song on the short video app exceeds 3.1 billion. The award recognizes the track’s incredible impact on TikTok, considering the total amount of likes and views on related videos. The neck-swing dance has become a major trend with young people both on the app and outside of it.   The group performed OTONABLUE live at the awards ceremony, wowing the crowd with their rendition of the iconic choreography. The award was bestowed by Ichiro Yamaguchi of Sakanaction, a TikTok ambassador and presenter at the ceremony.
  • Vocaloid Producer Balloon Releases Hatsune Miku’s Image Song for Sony’s 360 Reality Audio

    Keina Suda, also known by his Vocaloid producer name Balloon, has been rising in popularity with the release of the music video for his new track Darling. On May 24, he’ll release his second full album Ghost Pop, and his track Hana ni Kaze is being used to promote Hatsune Miku’s 360 Reality Audio Experience at the Sony Store. This catchy track will be released on all major streaming services on February 10, 2023. In addition, the cover for the song, created by Avogado6,  has also been revealed.

    The song was created exclusively as the campaign song for Sony Store’s exclusive Walkman and accompanying headphones featuring exclusive Hatsune Miku designs by Avogado 6. These are available to order now, and starting January 27, Sony Store locations are offering a new listening experience, allowing guests to enjoy Hana ni Kaze with Sony’s 3D Reality Audio.

     

    In addition to this listening experience, a special viewing event was held in theater rooms, making guests feel as though they were at a live concert. Reservations were required to participate.

  • ACCAMER Releases Music Video for ‘I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss’ Ending Theme

    ACCAMER released the song Nomic on streaming services on October 7. The track serves as the ending theme for the anime series I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss, and on October 15, the music video was revealed!   The new music video was produced by the song’s writer Sheeno Mirin, and is a unique creation perfectly suited for the track. In the past, ACCAMER has worked with eminent video creators on her music videos, including sakiyama, Ryuuseee, and Yuma Saito.    The music video was illustrated by up-and-coming artist Meri, who also created the cover art for Nomic. The video was edited by video director bondbond, and fans will also want to keep an eye out for ZAZA’s avant-garde CG work. The lyrics, which scroll vertically, are somewhat hypnotic, and this is certain to be one video you won’t forget!

    Popular boys group BE:FIRST has released the music video for Message. The track was featured on the group’s chart-topping first album BE:1 released on August 31.Message is BE:FIRST’s first love song, featuring a soundscape punctuated by sweet guitar riffs. The mid-tempo ballad is a collaboration between singer-songwriter eill, whose songs reflect elements of soul and R&B and whose silky, soulful voice is incredibly addicting; Matt Cab, whose musical sense and unique sound is perfect for a wide range of genres; and MATZ and SKY-HI, who have attracted attention as next-generation artists who lead the Japanese dance music scene.   The music video shows seven people in love and was filmed like a drama series. The second cour of the series began airing on October 1.   SOUVENIR is the band’s first new song in about six months and was added to streaming services on September 29.     Born in Niigata and living in London, international singer-songwriter Rina Sawayama released her second album Hold The Girl on September 16.
