The official website for Technoroid Overmind — the television anime portion of Noriyasu Agematsu, RUCCA, and Elements Garden’s Technoroid multimedia project — has uploaded the first teaser trailer for the series. Comments from the three cast members playing the members of STAND-ALONE have also been posted.

Technoroid is a Japanese mixed-media project created by Noriyasu Agematsu, RUCCA, CyberAgent, Avex Pictures, and Elements Garden. A mobile game developed by WonderPlanet titled Technoroid Unison Heart was released on January 21, 2022 for Android and iOS. The original idea was created by Elements Garden, the music producer for Uta no Prince Sama and Symphogear, and RUCCA, who provided the theme song lyrics for ID: INVADED and Bloom Into You. The two will be composing music for the anime series. Saori Sakiguchi will be designing the characters based on the original designs by LAM, who worked on the recent series takt op. Destiny.

The story of “wretched, beautiful androids” is set on the entertainment tower Babel, the new source of hope for humanity after climate change has submerged the world underwater. Several unique musical units compete to rise to the top of Babel, by moving the hearts of both humans and androids with their performances.

Denta (voiced by Shun Horie), the player’s guide and the mascot character of the organization that governs the world in the mobile game, will also be reprising his role.

The teaser features the four members of KNOCC and the three members of STAND-ALONE, both aiming to reach the top of Babel.

I’m happy that the world of Technoroid is expanding to the world of anime, and that I can still be a part of it. The game has continued to excite me with its incredible music and story.

I’ll do my best to show as many people as possible how wonderful Technoroid is!
