Premium Bandai has opened orders for three Tamagotchi inspired by Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie! These special items will be available to order until October 7 at 23:00, and fans of the film and the anime series won’t want to miss this chance.

The Tamagotchi will come in three designs, inspired by the characters Okkotsu, Gojo, and Geto. 

 

By feeding snacks to Okkotsu and engaging in mini-games, users can eventually discover and develop 13 different characters from the film!

Players will find three unique mini-games to play. In one, they must avoid a black rope by pressing buttons. In the second, players will be taking photos of crepes, and in the third, users will be pressing specific buttons at just the right moment to correctly line up images of characters from the film. The mini-games include appearances by Panda, Miguel, Mimiko, and Nanako. 

 

Fans will want to keep an eye out for other appearances and familiar scenes from the film as they play with their Tamagotchi!

The adorable TV show is set in a world where guinea pigs have transformed into cars, attracting fans both young and old.  Japanese viewers aren’t the only ones who fell in love with the series–in Taiwan, Pui Pui Molcar was broadcast 32 times a week due to its immense popularity. The NY Times even reported on the show’s success, and a Molcar boom is taking place around the world.

 

Last month, it was announced that a new Molcar series was on the way. This time around, the adorable characters from the first series will be heading to driving school and meeting four new characters: Peter, Hii, Fuu, and Mii. Even more new Molcars will appear in the series, so be sure to tune in!

Pui Pui Molcar: Driving School is scheduled to air on TV Tokyo and other stations in October 2022. More information will be released soon.

 

The series will be directed by Hana Ono (UchiPeople), who previously worked on storyboards for the first season. Tomoki Misato, the director of the first season, will supervise.

Kikkoman Foods has appointed the adorable characters from Pui Pui Molcar as ambassadors for Del Monte Vegetable Juice! A new CG commercial began airing nationwide on June 12, 2022.

 

This is the third collaboration between Del Monte’s Vegetable Juice and Pui Pui Molcar. 

 

The commercial is getting fans excited for the newly-announced second season of Pui Pui Molcar, scheduled to air this autumn. It’s also the first official commercial showing the characters in CG.

 

Mizuho Misato voices the presenter in the new commercial; the actress also played Potato in the series.

I’m so happy that Del Monte is teaming up with Pui Pui Molcar again!

The previous 2D animated web commercials were amazing, so when this project was starting to come together, I was shocked to find out that it would be made with CG!

This is probably the first CG Del Monte commercial to date!

Seeing my characters moving around on the screen, I immediately hoped that we could team up again in the future! 

This will also be the first time that Potato’s driver speaks! (My sister did the voice!)

From June 24 until July 17, fans of the adorable stop-motion series Pui Pui Molcar will be able to grab some exclusive beach party-inspired goods at Shibuya MODI! A limited-time pop-up store, ‘Sparkling Beach Party -Molcar’s Official Trip PARKING Shop,’ will welcome guests inside the 7th-floor event space.

 

This is the second limited-time brick-and-mortar store inspired by the web shop “Pui Pui Molcar Parking.” In this iteration, the characters are seen enjoying a beach party and have been painted in a new style! Products using those newly-drawn illustrations and a raffle for original prizes will be held for those purchasing goods. A “Potato Photo Session” is scheduled for July 9 and 16. 

 

The Pui Pui Molcar pop-up shop will be traveling to Osaka and Fukuoka in the future, so be sure to visit!

Shizuoka PARCO will open a pop-up shop inspired by the popular stop-motion series Pui Pui Molcar from March 30 until April 10! The shop has opened at seven PARCO locations nationwide so far, attracting over 45,000 fans.

 

Pui Pui Molcar aired for 12 episodes from January to March 2021. The series was directed by Tomoki Misato, and has attracted a worldwide fandom with its cute and fuzzy characters.

Bandai have announced they will release two Tamagotchi centred on Eevee from the Pokémon franchise on January 26, 2019. They will be available at major toy shops, department stores and electronic stores in Japan.

Sized at an adorable 4cm in diameter, owners can look forward to raising their very own Eevee. This Pokémon is known by fans for its many elemental evolutions obtainable through various methods throughout the games. For example, when given a Thunder Stone it will evolve into Jolteon, or when levelled up near an Ice Rock it will evolve into Glaceon.

The same goes for your Tamagotchi Eevee. By feeding it, brushing it and through other activities after hatching from its egg you can transform Eevee into one of 8 possible evolutions. Eevee will also show different expressions and behaviours depending on how you treat it. Look after it lots and it will be happy, but ignore it and it will grow timid.

The newest entry to the Tamagotchi handheld pet series will be released in Japan on November 23, 2018 at toy shops, electronic shops and elsewhere across Japan including online.

Tamagotchi are a defining aspect of the 1990s and 2000s in Japan. They were first released in Japan in 1996 and the rest of the world in 1997 where they also became a huge hit. To date, more than 82 million devices have been sold worldwide.

 

Now, it has been announced that the new “Tamagotchi Meets” will be released for people to play whenever and wherever they want.

The Tamagotchi Meets adds much more to the fun of the original Tamagotchi whereby users must raise their own digital pets. The functions which allow for communication with users has been expanded greatly. If you have your pet marry they can have a child with the same gene as their parents which you can raise.

 

The Tamagotchi will go through three stages: infancy, a rebellious age and puberty before eventually growing into an adult where they reach the friend stage. If two Tamagotchi marry they will have a baby together. During the baby’s infancy they will take on their parent’s colour. In the rebellious age they will take on other physical elements of their parents including their heads, tails, wings and so on. When they reach the friend stage their face and bodies will grow to look exactly like their parents.

The Tamagotchi may inherit lots of traits from their fathers from infancy to puberty, but when they reach adulthood they may look like their mothers. Characteristics will also be passed down the family line and the Tamagotchi children may take on elements of their ancestors or look like their grandparents. Also, even though they may be born from their parents, some Tamagotchi’s appearances will differ depending on how you raise them. There are many combinations and influences that will affect what kind of Tamagotchi you will get, so you can look forward to raising and communicating with all different kinds.

Tamagotchi Meets also introduces Bluetooth® to the series for the very first time so you link it with the Tamagotchi communication app releasing in November.
