LiSA is set to release her next single “ASH” on November 29th. The single will be her 13th in total. The music video for the title track, “ASH,” was just released on YouTube.
The song is being used as the second opening theme to the popular anime series “Fate/Apocrypha” which began broadcasting in October. The lyrics and composition were completed by SID’s vocalist Mao and bassist Aki which has attracted much attention.
LiSA’s new music video breaks away from full colour and is replaced with monochrome imagery (hence “ash” = grey) with red being the only standout colour in the entire clip. The ends of LiSA’s hair are also a conspicuous red. The deliberate imagery carried by the conscious use of colour expresses a burning will (red) penetrating through dark times (grey). It’s a song signifying a sliver of hope that screams to never let go of your wishes – to keep moving forward.
The music video will be released on DVD with the first press limited edition versions of the single.

LiSA: I’m LiSA and I was put in charge of the opening theme for “Fate/Apocrypha.” The first anime song I performed as LiSA was my 1st single “oath sign” for “Fate/Zero.” It’s been 6 years since then, and I’m overjoyed to be returning to the Fate series once more. “ASH” is a song about being ready to fight for your wishes and desires. I pray for each and every one of you to look forward to the song along with the characters’ story in the Holy Grail War.
LiSA is currently on her 13 venue nationwide hall tour, LiVE is Smile Always～LiTTLE DEViL PARADE～ “Soshite Parade wa Tsuzuku”. 2017 is nowhere near over yet for LiSA.

Aniplex has released the main visuals for the upcoming Arco Wada exhibition. The event is being held to celebrate Wada’s first artbook, Ai -Arco Wada Fate ART WORKS-, and will be held in both Tokyo and Osaka. It has been announced that the opening theme for the upcoming TV anime series Back Arrow will be performed by LiSA while the ending theme will be performed by Shuka Saitō. Set to air in January 2021, Back Arrow is an original anime series being produced by Studio VOLN, directed by Gorō Taniguchi, and written by Kazuki Nakashima.
The opening theme by LiSA is entitled dawn and was featured in the newest promotional video for the series which you can watch below. It introduces two new characters: Fine Forte (voiced by Ami Koshimizu) and Prax Conrad (Mikako Komatsu).
