March 14 will mark the 18th anniversary since three-member Japanese vocal unit w-inds. made their debut. On this day, the trio are set to release their 40th single, Dirty Talk.
The third single to be produced by lead vocalist Keita Tachibana, it’s an interwoven fusion of cutting-edge trends and 90s new jack swing, creating an entirely new form of dance music.
The band also just posted a making-of movie of the single’s CD cover shooting over on their official Twitter page and it’s a must-see for fans.
To celebrate the release of the band’s 40th single, look forward to getting a copy featuring your favourite member on the CD cover in a solo shot. Available only at Tower Records, each solo edition of the single also features different behind-the-scenes footage as well as a ticket to get a handshake with that member at the forthcoming handshake event.
w-inds. are set to embark on their fan club tour w-inds. FAN CLUB LIVE TOUR 2018 〜ESCORT〜 on March 3rd where they will first perform in Sapporo. They will also perform at Nakano Sun Plaza in Tokyo on March 14th, the day of the single’s release and the band’s anniversary.

Individual Signings
The first press editions of the new single Dirty Talk set for release on March 14th will contain either a “Present Application Ticket” or “Individual Signing Ticket”. They are both inserted randomly into copies. Please note that you can only attend the signings if you have an “Individual Signing Ticket” with you. These tickets can be used at the locations in Kansai, Kanto and Fukuoka (but not Hokkaido). An “Individual Signing Ticket” gives one person one signing from the name of the member on the ticket. Signings will only be done on the CD pamphlet included with the CD, so please make sure to take this with you to the signing.
Individual Handshakes
Inside each of the three Tower Records Limited Edition copies of the new single Dirty Talk set for release on March 14th is a ticket for a handshake with each corresponding member – Ryohei, Keita or Ryuichi – which you must take with you to the event. These tickets can be used at the locations in Kansai, Kanto and Fukuoka (but not Hokkaido). An “Individual Handshake Ticket” gives one person one handshake with the name of the member on the ticket. Please be aware that you cannot receive a handshake from a member other than the one written on your corresponding ticket. Please be aware that these editions are only available at Tower Records stores in Japan and on the Tower Records Online shop. Stocks are also limited, to make sure to reserve your copy ASAP.
Group Handshakes
Inside the regular edition of the new single Dirty Talk set for release on March 14th is an advertisement flier. If you take this flier with you to one of the events, you can receive handshakes with all 3 members. These fliers can be used at the locations in Kansai, Kanto and Fukuoka (but not Hokkaido). CDs will be sold instore on the day of the event, but due to limited stock, it’s recommended you purchase a copy online at a Japanese CD shop. Please be aware that the flier included in the first press regular edition is different from the flier included in the regular edition and cannot be used for a group handshake.

Dance vocal group w-inds. has released a new song perfect for the holiday season! The Christmas Song (feat. DA PUMP & Lead) is now available to stream. The track is from the group’s upcoming original album 20XX “We are,’ scheduled to be released on November 24, 2021.
The release has already become a trending topic in Japan. This year w-inds. is celebrating 20 years since their debut. Their first time serving as opening act was at a DA PUMP's concert, while Lead performed as the opening act for the first time at a w-inds.'s concert. The three groups are, as expected, very close friends at this point, and this Christmas track is filled with good vibes only. The jacket artwork was designed by U-YEAH from DA PUMP, and each singer wrote lyrics for their respective parts. Dance vocal group w-inds has released the cover art for their upcoming 14th original album, titled 20XX “We are.” The album will be released on November 24, 2021.
The photo features the two performers in front of a building that looks distinctly not Japanese. After 20 years in the business, it captures the refined elegance and dignity of w-inds and makes us more excited to hear what this album will bring to the table. This will be the first album released by the group in three years and the first original album for the group as a duo, after Ryuichi Ogata’s departure in June 2020. 20XX “We are” will include 10 songs, including Beautiful Now, with all tracks being produced by Keita Tachibana. On September 24, a new music video appeared on the official w-inds YouTube channel. Japanese pop boy band w-inds will release their 14th original album on November 24. The release comes as the two members celebrate their 20-year milestone. w-inds initially hit the Japanese music scene in 2001 with their first single Forever Memories. The album is titled 20XX “We are,” and is the pair’s first original album in 3 years. It will include the song Beautiful Now, released in December 2020, along with ten other tracks. Lead vocalist Keita Tachibana composed all songs on the album. Preorders have begun on Pony Canyon’s special product site, with various limited edition and special box edition releases available. Certain packages will include photobooks and instrumental versions of the album, along with Blu-ray or DVD releases. The larger special box editions are made to order, and can be preordered until 23:59 on October 8.

Japanese pop boy band w-inds. released their new song Beautiful Now on December 2, 2020, which comes as the first track to be released by the band since Ryuichi Ogata left earlier this year on June 1. The band also a the music video for the song on their official YouTube channel. The music video was directed by Hideaki Sunaga who is working with w-inds. for the first time. It features members Ryohei Chiba and Keita Tachibana as they embrace the new formation of w-inds.. The choreography was created by Sota and kooouya of GANMI.
