Pick Strawberries All Year Round at Tokyo Strawberry Park in Yokohama

05.May.2018 | FOOD / SPOT

Tokyo Strawberry Park opened in Tsurumi, Yokohama on April 29, 2018.

Tokyo Strawberry Park is a first for the city where you can enjoy picking strawberries all year round. The latest cutting-edge technology is used to manage environmental factors in the strawberry house such as temperature and humidity, allowing strawberry cultivation throughout the year.

It has proven popular, with over 1,700 people signing up for the opening day. Just being there is fun thanks to the Instagrammable pink asphalt.

There are four varieties of strawberries you can get your hands on which change each day: tochiotomeakihimeyotsuboshi, and UC Albion.

So that they can carefully look after and serve such fresh and delicious strawberries regardless of the season, the strawberry house is reservation-only. The floor inside the house is concrete which offers a clean environment. They have also come up with ways to eliminate any strain on your body from bending over and standing up so you can enjoy an adequate strawberry-picking adventure.

Several facilities are open at Tokyo Strawberry Park, such as Ichigo Lab where they sell chocolate covered strawberries as well as teach about the manufacturing process, and the Park Side Kitchen which is a restaurant with a strawberry focused menu. Kids and adults can all enjoy Tokyo Strawberry Park.

If you’re a lover for succulent strawberries then how about a trip to Tokyo Strawberry Park?
