This product was first seen at the opening of the Kyoto Kotochika branch of BAKE CHEESE TART on May 23, 2018. The matcha used comes from Ippodo, a long-standing tea shop that has continued in Kyoto for over 300 years. To make the best use of the tastiness, sweetness and bitterness of this high quality matcha, the matcha is dissolved into warm fresh cream. Everything that goes into creating this cheese tarts is thorough, from the selection of the ingredients to the methods and recipe used to make them.BAKE_焼きたて抹茶チーズタルト (6)

The highlight of the company’s cheese tarts is their crunchiness and light melt-in-the-mouth texture. The BAKE CHEESE TART brand was born in Hokkaido in February 2014. The first store opened in Shinjuku and since then, they have gone on to open 27 branches in Japan and overseas. They sell close to 3.5 million tarts a year which have come to be loved by the world.
