Attack on Titan x Tobu Zoo Collaborative Event Details Announced

New details for the Attack on Titan and Tobu Zoo collaborative event which was announced last month have been released. The event is set to run from July 14 to October. Let’s take a look at the latest news.

Original Illustrations

Original character designs have been specially drawn for this event. Fans can look forward to seeing main character Eren together with Levi dressed as animal handlers, as well as characters dressed up as animals.

Panel Showcase

There will be life-sized cardboard cutouts of characters from the series, as well as a photo spot recreating the event’s key visual. There will also be boards of the characters disguised as zoo animals.

Life-Size Exhibition

Expect to see a giant 4-meter tall balloon head of the Colossal Titan, life-sized figures of Eren and Levi, and more. There’ll also be a display of the Maneuver Gear that the humans use when taking down the Titans.

Original Merchandise

A huge line-up of original merchandise will be sold featuring artwork drawn for the event, such as badges, acrylic keyrings, folders, tote bags and more. Those who spend ¥2,000 or more (tax included) will also receive an original sticker.

Photo Booth

Take a commemorative photo of your day with cute designs of the characters dressed as animals. Photos can be printed.

Attack on Titan Themed Food

Enjoy food and dessert inspired by the series. Those who order from this menu will receive an original postcard.

Character Voice Announcements

The voice actors and actresses of the series have recorded special announcements specially for the event. They will go off several times a day and each lasts around a minute.

    The second half of Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 3 will debut this fall!   The first half recently aired in a one-hour special, and the new announcement was made following its conclusion.   • Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 3 to be Split in Two, First Half to Air in March

    It has been announced that Attack on Titan The Final Season will split its third part into two halves.   The first half will begin airing on NHK General starting March 3 at 24:25. The second half will air sometime during 2023 with more details to be revealed in the future.   Prior to this, a special compilation of all 87 episodes will be aired on NHK General from February 25 to February 27. Every episode of Attack on Titan that has aired to date will be condensed into seven episodes.
    A new trailer has been released ahead of the beginning of Part 3 inspired by the phrase “This is Freedom.” Fans will see Eren smiling as a child, a vast difference from the man he grows to be. The despair in the video is palpable, but there is still some hope being kept alive by the characters.   Finally, to commemorate the third part of The Final Season, fans will be able to watch episodes from the series for free on the streaming service GYAO! starting January 17.   After years of massive popularity, Attack on Titan is approaching its climax. Be sure to tune into Part 3 when it begins airing in March!

  • Akiyoshido Cave in Yamaguchi to be Illuminated for Christmas & Valentine Theater Event

    The Mine City Tourism Association has announced a Christmas & Valentine’s Day event at Akiyoshido Cave, one of the largest limestone caves in Japan. The event will see the natural wonder illuminated by a number of colorful lights. The Christmas event will run from December 21 to 25, 2022, while the Valentine’s Day event will run from February 10 to 14, 2023.   Akiyoshido Cave is one of Yamaguchi Prefecture’s most popular tourist attractions. The interior will be decorated with colorful lights and unique soundscapes, creating a once-in-a-lifetime setting for visitors. These illuminations and sounds were directed by world-renowned lighting designer Motoko Ishii, known for her work on Tokyo Tower and the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge.
  • Super Hotel Announces Second Collaboration with Attack on Titan
