Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas Performs Baki Anime’s New Opening Theme Song

04.September.2018 | ANIME&GAME / MUSIC

The new song The Going of Knockout by popular Japanese electronicore band Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas will be used as the newest opening theme song to the ongoing anime series Baki: Most Evil Death Row Convicts which is now streaming on Netflix.

The anime is an adaptation of the “Most Evil Death Row Convicts” arc from the popular manga series Baki the Grappler which has sold over 75 million copies. This is the band’s first song together with 5 members after guitarist Sxun left in June.

You can look forward to hearing the new song hit Netflix on September 24.

The song retains the explosive and whirling nature of the band’s music to date, with each section standing out in its own right which is sure to leave listeners feeling pumped.

The exhilarating melody will seize the listener and can be described as being a human bullet who rejects the rules as seen in the anime series.

Las Vas have returned with a new formation and they have decided to continue forward with even more music.

Beverly has been a huge fan of the Fairy Tale having watched the anime series while at school in the Philippines. The singer gave the following warm message about being involved with the series.

Fairy Tale is a very, very precious piece to me which taught me the important of friends and family. Whenever Natsu, Lucy and everyone confront problems and dangerous situations head on they all help each other and fight and overcome things together. Each character’s magical abilities is super cool and really interesting. (I’m really jealous! *laughs*). I really love Fairy Tale, so when I heard that I would be able to sing the ending theme for the final series I was shocked and really excited. I am truly grateful. I can’t stop being excited about my song rolling every time an episode ends.

Endless Harmony is a song about continuing to fight for tomorrow, for your friends and loved ones, and for the future. It says you are never alone because those who love you are by your side. It’s a perfect and fitting song for the final series. Details regarding its release will be announced in the near future.

It’s a spin-off series and will be different from the other anime series and games to date, but personally that’s something I genuinely want to enjoy. I hope everyone looks forward to the song as much as the series.”
