PIKOTARO and Wasuta to Perform at Japan Weekend Madrid 2018 in Spain!

September 29th and 30th Madrid will hold the biggest Japanese pop culture festival ever in Spain. Japan Weekend Madrid is bringing the viral phenomenon PIKOTARO known for PPAP, along with the idol group Wasuta(The World Standard). Also, Charisma.com will present its comeback for the first time after the group hiatus, being one of the most representations of hip-hop and electro music from Japan.
Atsushi Nishigori from DARLING in the FRANXX, the shojo manga artistAndo Mai, the wrestler Hana Kimura, the illustrators Shinnosuke Uchidaand Hannah Alexander, and the visual novel artists FUMIO (Grisaia) and Kuuchuu Yousai (ISLAND) will also be at Japan Weekend Madrid. Furthermore, the cosplayers Joo Skellington, Saki Miyamoto and Phi Phi O’hara (RuPaul’s Drag Race) will complete the awesome list of guests attending to Madrid next week.
With hundreds of activities, Japan Weekend Madrid will take place at Feria de Madrid (IFEMA) at halls 12 and 14, reuniting fans from all around the country and Europe and cosplayers from all around the world thanks to the International Cosplay League finals, the only international cosplay contest taking place in Spain. China, Italy, Bulgaria, Poland, UK, Denmark, Netherlands, Peru, France, Switzerland and Ukraine will be at the finals. This year, Japan Weekend Madrid is being part of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Spain.
