Starbucks Reserve® Roastery Tokyo―Get Priority Entry Access to New Tokyo Branch

06.February.2019 | SPOT

For 47 years Starbucks has crafted countless cups and mugs of high quality coffee to people around the world.

The coffee chain is always looking to create and innovate, and this particularly ties in with their series of Reserve branches, a unique style of Starbucks that serves rare and premium coffees with which it evolves its craft of coffee as an art form.

It has announced that a new Reserve branch is set to open in Tokyo on February 28, 2019. The building is being designed by renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma who is professor in the Department of Architecture at the University of Tokyo.

Japanese customers are already watering at the mouth waiting for the shop to open. It is expected that its grand opening will bring in a tidal wave of coffee lovers, and so Starbucks is giving priority entry tickets to 1,200 people using Starbucks Rewards™ for the dates February 28 (the day of opening) to March 3. That’s 300 people each day, so places are very limited.

The sign-up page can be found on the Japanese page here. The application period runs from February 5 to 11.
