RIPNDIP has announced that it will open its first flagship store in Japan on February 9, 2019 in the country’s fashion-central district of Harajuku.

RIPNDIP is an LA-based streetware brand that has grown alongside skating culture. Their designs have earned them popularity across the globe whether it be that instantly-recognisable cat with a facial expression you have to see to believe, aliens and more. On occasions they change things up with new and original designs that excite wearers of the brand.

The new Harajuku branch will open with a seasonal collection of Lord Nermal, the infamous cat and face of the brand. The interior will be decked out with a huge Lord Nermal sofa, a carpet fully lined with artwork, and more. There will also be an anime video of the brand playing in store.

Limited-edition items not available anywhere else will be available for purchase to celebrate the grand opening. And on February 8, the day before opening, an event will be held at Senkeys PENTHOUSE in Harajuku for regular customers.

The store is sure to shake things up in Japanese street culture, so be sure to visit when you’re in Harajuku.
