Fukumoto is credited with creating many unique gambling games in his series, but the film will feature four completely new and original gambling games that do not appear in the manga.

Tatsuya Fujiwara will reprise his role as the series’ main character Kaiji. Speaking about his return, Fujiwara describes himself with being astonished once again by the story Fukumoto is writing, and that filming is rigorous and well underway.

The film will also star Sōta Fukushi as Kōsuke Takakura, Mackenyu as Minato Hirose, Nagisa Sekimizu as Kanako Kirino, and Kōtarō Yoshida as Yohishiro Kurosaki.
