Cute Idol Group Hinatazaka46 Just Released Music Video For Second Single

The music video for Idol group Hinatazaka46’s single called Do Re Mi So Ra Shi Do has just been released. This is the group’s second single and will be released for sale on Wednesday 17th July.

From after school classroom scenes to cafes, the streets, their bedrooms and even rooftops, this music video was filmed in a variety of scenes and even switches between solo scenes and full group dance scenes. 

The way the girls move, pose, dance and jump excitedly in the video is very cute!

The main dance scene takes place in a large outdoor pool surrounded by walls of light blue curtains, creating a refreshing summer feeling.

  • Award-Winning Track by Producer Kirai Hiiragi to be Performed by Kyoko Saito at MTV VMAJ 2021

    The MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2021 will air on December 18, 2021. The show has already awarded a new special prize, the Daisy Bell Award, to popular Vocaloid producer Kirai Hiiragi for the song Love ka? For the event, Kyoko Saito from Hinatazaka46 will perform the song live. 

     

    The Daisy Bell Award is a special prize for songs created using voice synthesis software and was made after Vocaloid tracks began to shape the musical landscape more and more. With the support of ‘The VOCALOID Collection Powered by dwango,’ an event to further develop Vocaloid culture, nominees were selected from the top-ranked songs in the Vocaloid Collection in Winter 2020 and Spring 2021. Love ka? was the clear winner. Kirai Hiiragi quickly responded by simply saying “Thank you for the award, I’m so happy. Is this real?” 

     

    Kyoko Saito, who also sang as a guest vocalist for Ryokushaka at the MTV LIVE MATCH in October, will perform the track. As the diva of the idol group Hinatazaka46, she is known for her incredible singing ability, and expectations are high. Don’t miss it!

  • Hinatazaka46 Releases Music Video For 4th Single ‘Mado o Akenakutemo’

    Japanese idol group Hinatazaka46 dropped the music video for their 4th single Mado o Akenakutemo (“Even If You Don’t Open the Window”) just last week.

    The new single features singing from 1st Generation members Shiho Katō, Kyōko Saitō, Kumi Sasaki, and Mirei Sasaki, as well as 2nd Generation members Nao Kosaka, Suzuka Tomita, and Miho Watanabe.

     

    The music video was filmed in the suite room of a hotel and was shot in a single take. We see the members inside their gorgeous hotel room and the bathroom in a variety of outfits from pyjamas to colourful clothing. While the video shows the glamour of the hotel, it also has a cute pastel hue to it.

    Mado o Akenakutemo will be released on CD on February 19, 2020. Full details below.

  • Hinatazaka46 Reveal Artist Photos For Their Upcoming 4th ‘Single Sonna Koto Nai Yo’

    As part of the Sakamichi Series produced by Yasushi Akimoto, Hinatazaka46 released their debut single Kyun in March 2019 and continued to reign at number one on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart with three different songs. Not even a year had passed since their debut and Hinatazaka46 took to the stage at Japan’s New Year’s Eve television special 70th NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen. The girls are now set to release their 4th single Sonna Koto Nai Yo this month and have revealed the kawaii artist photos on the CD jackets. 

     

     

    The photos are stylish, full of joy and will immediately pull you into the cheerful world of Hinatazaka46. With “lines” as the abstract pattern theme running through all four versions of the single (TYPE-A, TYPE-B, TYPE-C and the Regular Edition), ribbons of different materials bind the band members together, representing how they keep pushing forward to achieve their goal no matter how hard they fall.

    From a street to a port to a studio, each of the four images on the jackets is taken in a different location. In each location, the girls are wearing different coordinated outfits. 

    The photos are packed with the wonderful world of Hinatazaka46 but the excitement for fans doesn’t stop there! There’s definitely more to come from the girls so stay tuned.

    The wonderfully cute idol group Hinatazaka46 will be releasing their second single titled Do Re Mi So Ra Shi Do on July 17. For now, we can have a sneak preview of the photos that will be used on the album jackets as well as their latest artist photo.

     First-Press Limited Edition TYPE-A

    The jacket photo for the First-Press Limited Edition TYPE-A CD is a sunny photo taken mid-summer, which perfectly sums up the group name (because “Hinata” means “a sunny place”). The photo is a natural shot of the girls happily soaking up the summer sun without a care in the world.

    Regular Edition

    The CD jacket photographer, Kyohei Matsuda, is an expert in the field of advertising for beauty and fashion. The photos perfectly capture the feelings of a sunny summer. The vitality of the green tropical plants leaves a strong image of energy, life and liveliness.

    The artist photo was taken against a plastered wall that resembles the atmosphere of a Mediterranean townscape. You can feel the warmth of the sun from the bright lighting of the photo. The photographer, Hiroshi Manaka, is experienced in many different types of photography from advertising to fashion and CD jackets.  

     

    With the new release of the CD jacket photos and latest artist photo, Hinatazaka46 fans just cannot contain their excitement for the release of the second single any longer.

  • Hinatazaka46 Release ‘JOYFUL LOVE’ Music Video From ‘Kyun’ Single

    Japanese idol group Hinatazaka46 will drop their debut single Kyun on March 27, 2019. In the run up to its release, the group has released a music video for JOYFUL LOVE, a track coupled on the new single.

    The song was used in a commercial for the fashion subscription service MECHAKARI in autumn last year. It has already become a well-known track amongst fans of the group, who have performed the track numerous times including at the Nippon Budokan at the end of last year and their recent Yokohama Arena concert.

     

    The music video was directed by Kazuma Ikeda who worked on Keyakizaka46’s debut song Silent Majority. It was filmed in Gifu Prefecture and talks about the obstacles that come about through connecting with people and rediscovering strength.

  • Hinatazaka46 Release Long-Awaited ‘Kyun’ Music Video

    Japanese idol group Hinatazaka46, a sister group of Keyakizaka46, released their debut single Kyun on February 11, 2019. The group unveiled a key visual for the release on March 4 and have finally dropped the full music video on their website.

     

    In the video we see the members break out into a feel-good and positive dance number in various locations across a school, like in the hallways and the classroom. A group of students join as extras in the dance.

    In the final dance scene, the positivity grows to a climax as the entire school joins the members. Almost 100 extras were used in the video, all donning the group’s main colour of sky blue.

    The RadCamX was also used in parts of the video to capture the immense scale of the shoots. The members themselves have highlighted the catchy dance during the chorus as their favourite.
