DEAN FUJIOKA to Celebrate ‘Shelly’ EP Release With Christmas Eve Live Stream

DEAN FUJIOKA will release his new EP Shelly tomorrow, and to celebrate, the singer and actor has announced that he will hold a special Christmas Eve live stream entitled “Christmas Streaming Party 2019” on December 24, 2019.


The live stream will take place simultaneously across various platforms including YouTube and the official LINE accounts of SSTV and A-Sketch. It will of course be free to view. FUJIOKA will discuss the writing and production of the EP as well as look back over his experiences in 2019.

 

A campaign is also being held in Japan for 20 lucky fans who have purchased a copy of the Shelly to sign up and watch the Christmas Streaming Party in the place it will be streamed, with FUJIOKA in point-blank range. More details can be find on the special Shelly website. Applications close on December 16, 2019.

    This is DEAN FUJIOKA’s first tour since his “Born To Make History” tour in 2019, and is sure to be highly anticipated amongst domestic fans after the cancellation of his Asia tour last year. The new tour will take him to 20 venues across 18 cities starting at Kawaguchi Comprehensive Cultural Center Lilia’s Main Hall on September 4, 2021.

    Season two of Astro Connect’s Online Planetarium series began on Friday. The project, which has streamed every Friday since April 2020, is a chance for people to connect with the stars and space.

     

    The project began as a means of entertainment for people who have been in lockdown and unable to go outside due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our time indoors has increased, and so Online Planetarium serves as a way for people to have fun while begin able to travel.     Tennozu Canal Fes 2021 Spring ~WORLD TRAVEL – ASIA~ is set to take place online via CANAL’s official YouTube channel on April 24. The event comes in response to the cancellation of the in-person event due to fears of COVID-19 transmission.

     

    “World Travel” is the theme of Tennozu Canal Fes 2021 with a different region to be chosen each season, allowing for music lovers and concertgoers to enjoy a little bit of something from abroad. The theme for spring is Asian music which focuses on music from around Asia – except Japan. Viewers can tune in to see everything from Indian dancing to classical Chinese opera, Chinese erhu performance, and more. Performances will still take place at Tennozu Canal in Tokyo but will be live streamed.

  • The final livestreaming of Online Planetarium Announced

    Astro Connect, the space and astronomical project organizer, has been organised the project called Online Planetarium with ABLab, the astronomical online salon, to livestream the sky where you can observe the stars every Friday night since April 16, 2020. The final livestream will take place on April 16, 2021, which marks the first anniversary of project launching. The renewal of project will begin after April as Season 2.

     

     

    We used to visit the Planetarium to explore and experience the universe with expert commentary until before the pandemic began. This time, they will deliver it to your home. You can observe the universe while listening to the interaction between a presenter and a commentator live. Also, the viewers can send questions directly to the presenter during the livestream to experience the new communication style of planetarium.

  • DEAN FUJIOKA Releases ‘Plan B’ Music Video

    In promotion of his new single Take Over, which dropped on Wednesday (March 10), DEAN FUJIOKA is holding a 24-hour live stream on the same day as the record’s release.

     

    The stream will begin at 18:30 (JST) and will air music videos before DEAN FUJIOKA appears to perform live at 20:00. He will of course perform his new single, talk about his first-ever picture book Famubamu, talk to fans through video call, and more.

    The VTuber group Nijisanji are celebrating three years since their debut with the release of two new ones: PALETTE 001 – Wonder NeverLand and PALETTE 002 – Nijiiro no Puddle, both of which hit music streaming and download services on February 25, 2021.

    The first new song, PALETTE 001 – Wonder NeverLand, was produced by kz (livetune) who also wrote the song Virtual to LIVE for Nijisanji’s 1st anniversary. It was recorded live in a studio with wind and string instruments and features singing from 12 streamers.

     

    The second new song, PALETTE 002 – Nijiiro no Puddle, is performed by the internationally-beloved Japanese rock band FLOW. It’s a song about enjoying the here and now to the fullest, and also includes the voices of 12 streamers. This also marks the group’s first collaboration with FLOW, a band who is set to perform at Nijisanji Anniversary Festival 2021 on February 26, 2021.

    DEAN FUJIOKA has dropped a trailer for the First Press Limited Edition of his upcoming new single Take Over which is set for release on March 10, 2021.

     

    Copies of this edition include the title track Take Over which was debuted at DEAN FUJOKA’s first-ever live streamed performance “Plan B” held at the end of 2020 as well as a “Plan B Remix” version of his smash hit History Maker, the original version having been written as the opening theme for the anime series Yuri!!! On ICE. It also includes a live music video.

     

    But it doesn’t end there. First Press Limited Edition copies also include footage of the singer’s acoustic concert DEAN FUJIOKA FamBam Exclusive “#Acoustic,” a show that was originally scheduled to take place for fan club members in March 2020 but had to be cancelled and was held as a studio session instead.     DEAN FUJIOKA had to cancel his second Asia tour in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and so his live stream concert comes as the Plan B. Live stream shows have become popular recently and are looking to continue into 2021.

     

    FUJIOKA has video director Spikey John on board for the stream. Additionally, members of FUJIOKA’s official fan club FamBam that buy fan club tickets will get to participate in an exclusive part of the show after the concert ends.

    DEAN FUJIOKA’s stream will begin on December 26 at 18:00 (JST). This year has been a huge success for the singer, and 2021 will see him moving in a new direction, beginning with Plan B.

    Swarovski Japan is launching a Christmas campaign this year in collaboration with Jin Akanishi and Ryo Nishikido’s YouTube channel “NO GOOD TV” and fashion magazine ELLE Japon.

    Swarovski is an Austrian glass producer founded in 1895 that’s celebrating its 125th anniversary this year. The company’s Swarovski Crystal Business is known for its craftsmanship and innovation, providing crystal glass, jewellery, and accessories to the people of the world since its inception.

     

    As part of Swarovski Japan’s Christmas campaign, it is teaming up with Japanese musicians Jin Akanishi and Ryo Nishikido. This is the first time the company has used male celebrities in its promotions in Japan. Together with the global women’s fashion magazine ELLE Japon, the campaign will promote Swarovski products in the run up to Christmas. A six-page feature will be included in January 2021 issue of ELLE Japon of the two musicians promoting Swarovski’s jewellery, watches, and more.

    Jin Akanishi and Ryo Nishikido posted a 14-minute video on their YouTube channel (“NO GOOD TV – Vol. 21”) with behind-the-scenes footage of their ELLE Japon photo shoot as well as other news related to the collaboration with Swarovski.

     

    Exclusive photos of Akanishi and Nishikido which weren’t feature in either the magazine or on YouTube were also officially released on Swarovski’s official LINE account.
