Ninjala Full CG Movie Shows Off Upcoming Multiplayer Action Game For the Nintendo Switch™

Ninjala is an upcoming multiplayer action game set to release worldwide on the Nintendo Switch™ on May 27, 2020. In the world of Ninjala, players blow bubble gum to craft different weapons and fight using the fighting style of ninjutsu. Players can also transform into nearby objects, and they must use parkour to traverse different landscapes while aiming to take down their opponents.

 

The first episode of a new full CG animated series was released on the game’s official website and YouTube channel on Monday which gives a peek into the way things work in the world of Ninjala.

The artist performed in 30 locations across Japan.

     

    Ninjala will begin a new season on October 15. The series first began in January, and Kyary’s song Maybe Baby has been used as the theme thus far. 

     

    A teaser for the song’s music video has already appeared on YouTube, featuring a kaleidoscopic new visual with Kyary reflected in a mirror as she shows off some unique choreography. For those who have been fans of Kyary for a while, this video is packed with her personal style.

  • Demon Slayer Game to be Released for the Nintendo Switch in June

    Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles is getting a Nintendo Switch version, with a release date set for June 9 in Japan.

     

    The Demon Slayer manga series, written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge, has over 150 million copies in circulation, making it the ninth best-selling manga series of all time. It follows Tanjiro Kamado, a teen who strives to become a demon slayer after his family was killed and his younger sister Nezuko was turned into a demon. Combining both heartwrenching storytelling with just the right amount of comic relief, the title has amassed fans around the world. 

     

     

    Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles was released for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on October 21, and has sold over 1.32 million copious worldwide. It includes a solo mode that follows the Demon Slayer story, and also a Versus Mode, allowing players to fight other characters.



    In the Nintendo Switch version, players can choose from a total of 24 characters to fight, including six demons added in previous free updates. By using Kimetsu Points, players can unlock characters and costumes, including the Summer School Uniform which will be a Switch exclusive. Physical copies are now available for pre-order, while the downloadable version will be available at a later date.

  • Kyary Pamyu Pamyu Releases ‘Maybe Baby,’ Opening Song for Ninjala Anime Series

    Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s new song Maybe Baby has been officially released on streaming services! The track will be used as the opening theme song for the Ninjala anime series. The track was written by Yasutaka Nakata, and is a danceable track for children and adults alike.

  • GARNiDELiA Provides Theme for Soukai Tenki Nintendo Switch Game

    Musical duo GARNiDELiA will perform the theme song Souten for the upcoming Nintendo Switch title Soukai Tenki, scheduled to be released in 2022. The song was also used in the recent Soukai Tenki stage play. 

     

    Soukai Tenki is an adventure game with character designs by Teita and a scenario by Yuumi Yamada. The title is listed as a mixed-media project by Otomate, Toho Animation, and Plus81. 

     

    In November 2021, GARNiDELiA released their new album ‘Duality Code.’ The duo is currently participating in a nationwide tour.

  • Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s Song ‘Maybe Baby’ Announced as Theme for ‘Ninjala’ Anime Series

    Kyary Pamyu Pamyu has announced that her new song Maybe Baby will serve as the opening theme song for the winter anime series Ninjala, set to begin airing on January 8, 2022. The singer is celebrating the 10th anniversary of her major debut in 2021, and Maybe Baby was featured on her newest album Candy Racer released in October.

    The anime series is based on GungHo Online Entertainment’s action video game for the Nintendo Switch. In the past, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu has collaborated with the game, providing her songs Gum Gum Girl and Ninja Re Bang Bang Steve Aoki Remix

     

    Maybe Baby was written by Yasutaka Nakata and is a danceable track featuring Kyary’s light vocals and a catchy beat that will make anyone want to move. 

     

    An online fan meetup will also take place on December 18 and will be held exclusively for members of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s official fan club, KPP CLUB. While last year’s ‘KPP ONLINE MEETUP VOL.1’ was a large online event with about 500 fans in attendance, this time it will be held in small groups of about 25 for multiple periods. 

     

    During the meetup, Kyary will give away many of her personal belongings that she has used in the past. Fans of the singer won’t want to miss out!

     

    To commemorate 10 years of the singer’s career, members of the Fanclub will also get some new benefits and privileges including behind-the-scenes vlogs. 

     

    Kyary Pamyu Pamyu will start her 10th Anniversary Japan Tour on January 16. This will be the largest tour in the singer’s history, and fan club members can enjoy special passes and photo spots.

  • Universal Studios Japan 20th Anniversary Christmas Event Opening November 26

Universal Studios Japan is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a new Christmas event, hoping to bring back guests’ smiles and offer a place to make new holiday memories.     The park will decorate Gramercy Park, found in the heart of the New York section, with a massive Christmas tree, the first to be erected in two years. Featuring different decorations than years past, the tree will be clad in 20th-anniversary colors and adornments and will be the perfect place to take a photo! Plenty of Christmastime entertainment and lights will illuminate the park, giving visitors plenty of hope for the upcoming new year. 

     

    The singing show ‘Power of Pop – Christmas Edition’ will be held at Mel’s stage, and guests can hear popular Christmas tunes sung live. The popular Super Nintendo World area of the park will be welcoming winter for the first time since its opening, with a new lineup of food and merchandise. 

     

    A Demon Slayer: Kimestu no Yaiba collaboration event will also be going on until February 13, 2022. In addition, the Demon Slayer XR ride, the series’ first VR roller coaster, themed restaurants featuring character meet-and-greets will also be open, as well as shops selling original Demon Slayer merchandise. 

     

    For the park’s 20th anniversary, the popular stage show NO LIMIT! will feature a special Christmas theme, with popular park characters clad in holiday costumes. The collaboration with popular girl’s band NiziU has been a major hit so far and will feature their original song FESTA. This new revival is sure to have visitors dancing to the music!

     

    A new Christmas-exclusive AR filter has been added to the park’s official Instagram, so don’t miss your chance to use it during your visit!

  • Universal Studio Japan to Expand Super Nintendo World with Donkey Kong Area

    Since opening in March, Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan has caught the world’s attention, leading global game fans to pray even harder for Japan to reopen for tourism. Now, the park is scheduled to level up with a new Donkey Kong-themed area scheduled to open in 2024. 

     

    Currently, Super Nintendo World is filled with Mario-inspired attractions, dining options, and shops, recreating some of the most memorable parts of the franchise in a larger-than-life way. The new Donkey Kong area will feature a roller coaster and more interactive experiences, as well as themed merchandise and food options. Guests will be able to walk through lush jungles, where Donkey Kong and his friends live. The creation of the new area will more than double the size of Super Nintendo World. 

    Launched as an arcade game by Nintendo in 1981, Donkey Kong quickly took the world by storm, with games continuing to be released on Nintendo systems from the SNES to the Nintendo Switch. As of March 2021, the series has sold over 65 million units worldwide.

  • New Era has announced its first collaboration with the Mother video game series, also known as EarthBound outside Japan. Two hats, one inspired by Ness’s hat from Mother 2, and a ‘SMAAAASH!!’ version, will be released at the Mother no Hiroba pop-up shop at Shibuya PARCO as well as at participating TOCHIBI stores in Japan on July 1.
