It has been announced that Japanese voice actress Rikako Aida will perform the opening theme Dream hopper for the upcoming TV anime series Soukou Musume Senki which is set to begin airing on January 6, 2021. Aida is also voicing the character Riko in the series.

We have yet to hear Dream hopper, but according to Rikako Aida’s comments in an interview, it’s different from anything she has done before, and is a ‘really interesting’ track. The song’s release date has yet to be announced.

The anime’s story is centred on the plot of Soukou Musume Mizel Rem Crisis which is a rebooted version of the franchise’s game that launched earlier this year on May 21.

“I’m so happy to be involved in this series both as part of the cast and singing the opening theme. The opening theme is a completely different genre from what I’ve done until now. I think it’s a really interesting song that changes throughout. It pains a picture of the five characters’ journey.”
