TV Anime SSSS.DYNAZENON and Dragon Goes House-Hunting OP Themes Performed by Masayoshi Ōishi

Masayoshi Ōishi announced via his live stream concert “Sekai ga Kimi o Hitsuyou to Suru Toki ga Kitan da” on Tuesday (January 5) that he will perform the opening themes for the two anime series SSSS.DYNAZENON and Dragon Goes House-Hunting.

The SSSS.DYNAZENON opening theme is entitled Imperfect and will be released as Masayoshi Ōishi’s 6th single while the Dragon Goes House-Hunting opening theme Roleplaying will be released as his 7th. Both singles will release simultaneously in Japan on April 21, 2021.

Dragon Goes House-Hunting is a fantasy manga series written by Kawo Tanuki and illustrated by Choco Aya. SSSS.DYNAZENON is as a continuation of SSSS.GRIDMAN. and is being co-made by Studio Trigger and Tsuburaya Productions.

    SSSS.DYNAZENON‘s second promotional video and a new key visual were showcased at Tokyo Comicon 2020 revealing new staff, cast, characters, and an April 2021 release date.

    Ten new cast members have been added to the roster. We will see Hiroshi Kamiya as Jyuga, Yūma Uchida as Onijya, Ayaka Suwa as Mujina, Kouki Uchiyama as Shizumu Mariya Ise as Inamoto, Azusa Tadokoro as Mei, Jin Ogasawara as Awaki, Gakuto Kajiwara as Nazumi, Rio Tsuchiya as Ranka, and Hikaru Tohno as Kaneishi.

    SSSS.DYNAZENON was announced last year as a continuation of SSSS.GRIDMAN. and is being co-made by Studio Trigger and Tsuburaya Productions. Both series make up part of the “GRIDMAN UNIVERSE.”

     

    If you’ve yet to see SSSS.GRIDMAN, you can catch all 12 episodes on Crunchyroll. The Blu-ray will be released in Japan on February 17, 2021.

  • TV Anime Dragon Goes House-Hunting Reveals Main Cast, Key Visual, and New PV

    A new key visual and promotional video have been released for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Dragon Goes House-Hunting, the fantasy manga series written by Kawo Tanuki and illustrated by Choco Aya.

    The key visual centers on the main characters: the timid young red dragon Letty, the powerful elf demon and real-estate agent Dearia, the baby bird Pip, and the human princess Nell, all of whom are cheerful and content sat in a sunny field.

    The new promotional video shows Letty and Dearia set out on a journey to find Letty a new home, and the eventful adventures and unique characters that await them along the way.

    The main cast includes Shun Horie (Kazuya Kinoshita in Rent-A-Girlfriend; Enta Jinnai in Sarazanmai) as Letty, Kaito Ishikawa (Tenya Iida in My Hero Academia; Nero in Devil May Cry) as Dearia, Shiori Izawa (Nanachi in Made in Abyss; Kanata Ubuyashiki in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) as Pip, and Misato Sakuragi (Himiko Toga in My Hero Academia; Golden Darkness in To Love Ru) as Nell.

     

    The production staff working on the anime adaptation have also launched a special online ‘salon’ which includes information about anime production, anime advertisement, and more. Those who can read Japanese and are interested in the anime industry find it an insightful read for sure. The salon hopes to foster a community between production staff and users. Registration to the website is now open.

    Dragon Goes House-Hunting will being broadcasting from April 2021 in Japan on TOKYO MX, Yomiuri TV, and BS Fuji.

  • Studio Trigger Debut SSSS.DYNAZENON’s First Trailer Along With Character Art

    The long-awaited first promotional video for SSSS.DYNAZENON is finally here. The anime was announced last year as a continuation of SSSS.Gridman. and is being co-made by Studio Trigger and Tsuburaya Productions.

    The video showcases the main cast with Daiki Hamano as Gauma, Junya Enoki as Yomogi Asanaka, Shion Wakayama as Yume Minami, Yuichiro Umehara as Koyomi Yamanaka, and Chika Anzai as Chise Asukagawa. The music is by Shirō Sagisu who is composing the anime’s soundtrack.

     

    SSSS.DYNAZENON: First Promotional Trailer

    It was also confirmed in line with the video’s release that the team responsible for the 3D CG graphics in SSSS.GRIDMAN are reprising their roles as staff on the new series.

    It has yet to be announced when the new anime project will air, so stay tuned.

    The Story

    The series follows Letty, who’s just no good at being a dragon. So much so that his parents kick him out of the house.


    Letty is on the road looking for a new house, but finds it no place for a legendary creature like a dragon where dwarves and other mythical creatures want a piece of him. He is joined by an elvish architect on his quest to find a new home.

    The cast list has been announce for the upcoming anime series SSSS.DYNAZENON along with a key visual. The anime was announced last year as a continuation of SSSS.Gridman.

    The voice cast list of the characters in the key visual is as follows:

    Daiki Hamano will play Gauma

  • Masayoshi Ōishi to Perform New Monster Strike The Movie: Lucifer Zetsubō no Yoake Anime Film’s Main Theme

    It has been announced that Masayoshi Ōishi’s new song Eiyū no Uta (“Song of Heroes”) will be used as the opening theme for the upcoming anime film Monster Strike The Movie: Lucifer Zetsubō no Yoake which is set to premiere this June. The film will be the third in the Monster Strike anime film series.

     

    Masayoshi Ōishi has written and performed song for numerous anime series, including Kemono Friends and SSSS.GRIDMAN. His new song, Eiyū no Uta, will form one half of his upcoming double A-side single alongside the track Sekai ga Kimi wo Hitsuyo to Suru Toki ga Kitanda, which will release on May 20, 2020. First Press copies of the single are coupled with a Blu-ray which features the music video for Sekai ga Kimi wo Hitsuyo to Suru Toki ga Kitanda as well as Ōishi’s performance of Gakuten Toshi held at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo on July 11 last year.

     

    Masayoshi Ōishi is in charge of the theme song for Animelo Summer Live 2020ーhappening from August 28-30 this yearーthe world’s biggest anime song event which sees over 80,000 attendees over its 3-day period each year. He will also perform solo at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA on May 21, 2020.

  • Studio Trigger and Tsuburaya Productions Announce New SSSS.Dynazenon Anime

    It was announced at TSUBURAYA CONVENTION 2019, which was held at Tokyo Dome City on December 14 and 15, that Tsuburaya Productions and Studio Trigger and teaming up to produce the new anime series SSSS.DYNAZENON.

    The new anime project will be helmed by staff who worked on SSSS.GRIDMAN, with Akira Amemiya as director, Keiichi Hasegawa as screenwriter, and Masaru Sakamoto as character designer. Shirō Sagisu will compose the soundtrack.

    Details on the story have yet to be announced, but we have the above-pictured visual that was released alongside the project’s announcement which seems to be some kind of mecha.

     

    Tsuburaya Productions and Studio Trigger both worked on the successful SSSS.GRIDMAN series, which won the Galaxy Prize in the Media Category at the 58th Japan SF Taikai in July 2019. Stay tuned for more information on the studios’ next big project.

  • Anisong Singer Masayoshi Releases Cop Craft and Monster Strike Anime Theme Songs

    Anisong singer Masayoshi Oishi released his new CD single called Paradise City (Rakuen Toshi) on August 21.

    The single consists of two songs: Paradise City, which is the opening theme song for Cop Craft, and Hero, which is the opening theme song for anime Monster Strike: Noah Hakobune no Kyūseishu, which is currently being broadcast every Saturday from 7pm on YouTube.

    In addition, the single will also include the song “Departure”, which is featured in Monster Strike. Masayoshi will be commemorating the release of his single with two live performances which are free to attend: One at Abeno Q’s Mall, Osaka on August 24 and another at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, Tokyo on August 25. The CD single will be available to purchase at both events. Those who purchase one will be in for a treat as they will receive a signed poster directly from the hands of the singer himself.

  • TV Anime Cop Craft Opening Theme ‘Rakuen Toshi’ to be Performed by Masayoshi Ōishi

    It has been revealed that anime song singer Masayoshi Ōishi will release his new single Rakuen Toshi on CD on August 21, 2019.

     

    The title track will be used for the opening theme of the opening TV anime series Cop Craft which is set to premiere on TOKYO MX this July. The CD also includes the song Hero which will be used for the new season of Monster Strike the Animation.

    Cop Craft is an adaptation of Japanese light novel series Cop Craft: Dragnet Mirage Reloaded written by Shoji Gatoh and illustrated by Range Murata. Six volumes have been published by Gagaga Bunko with over 200,000 copies sold. The anime is being directed by Shin Itagaki and adapted by Millepensee.

    Monster Strike the Animation was first released on YouTube on October 10, 2015. This omnibus-style series follows the stories of multiple characters that feature in the mobile game Monster Strike.

     

    Fans who purchase Rakuen Toshi on CD at select stores will receive various bonus items. Full list below.

     

    Masayoshi Ōishi will release his new album Kariuta II on June 26. His will embark on a tour on July 6 to promote its release.

  • OxT Release Ace of Diamond Act II’s Ending Theme ‘Golden After School’

    OxT is a Japanese music group consisting of vocalist Masayoshi Ōishi and guitarist and composer Tomohiro Ōshima (Tom-H@ck). Their music has featured in several anime series including SSSS.GRIDMAN for which their song UNION was used as the opening theme. The song peaked on Oricon’s Weekly Digital Charts at No. 2.

     

    Their song Golden After School is currently used as the ending theme for the ongoing TV anime series Ace of Diamond Act II. The song just hit shelves on April 17 and both members released statements surrounding the record.

    Masayoshi Ōishi said: “We wrote a song for the new chapter of Seidou High! It would be great if this song continues that golden age the 3rd year students left behind, the age that ties together their story which took place after school. We wrote it with care and consideration, so I hope people enjoy it!”

     

    Tom-H@ck commented: “Our latest single… Golden After School…! This is a famous song which has a nostalgic vibe to it. The melody and lyrics both elicit a sense of nostalgia from somewhere. Please be sure to check out the music video too, me and my pal Ōishi went on a driving date!”


    First press copies of the CD include application cards to receive priority tickets to an official event for the anime series taking place at Science Hall on May 18. Appearing at the event will be Ryōta Ōsaka (who voices Eijun Sawamura), Shintarō Asanuma (Yōichi Kuramochi), Wataru Hatano (Tōru Masuko), and OxT.

     

    Masayoshi Ōishi has also announced a new solo album entitled Kariuta II which will be released on June 26, 2019. He will head on a solo tour to promote the album later this year. Pre-sale tickets will go live via his fan club on April 22 at 23:59 (JST).

    The cover jacket for Masayoshi Ōishi’s live DVD Masayoshi Ōishi no Hikikatari Lab ~10th Anniversary “One Man” Show~ has also been unveiled. It will be released on May 8.
