Japanese character jewellery brand U-TREASURE has released two solitaire rings based on the fan-favourite Attack on Titan characters Eren and Levi. The rings are available to purchase at the U-TREASURE Concept Store in Ikebukuro and on their official website until April 13.

It was in the top 10 in 126 other countries. It ranked #1 on the Spotify Viral Top 50 in Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam.  The anime version of the music video has already received over 10 million views and the song reached #3 on Japanese charts.

     

    Thanks to TikTok, the song continues to generate a lot of buzz. Even after Attack on Titan ends, this incredible track will remain a classic.

    Singer-songwriter Ai Higuchi has released the music video for the song Akuma no Ko, which serves as the ending theme for Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 2.

     

    The track has already gained massive popularity worldwide and has been streamed over 35 million times in just over one month. Akuma no Ko reached the top spot on the Apple Music J-Pop Ranking in 109 countries including Germany, France, Italy, and Korea. It was in the top 10 in 126 other countries. It ranked #1 on the Spotify Viral Top 50 in Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam.  The anime version of the music video has already received over 10 million views.

     


    The video was filmed on a windy island and has an exotic atmosphere that doesn’t quite feel Japanese.

  • SiM Releases Music Video for Attack on Titan OP Theme ‘The Rumbling’

    The music video for The Rumbling, the opening theme song for Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 2, premiered on YouTube on March 2, 2022.


    Performed in front of a green screen with incredibly detailed CG imagery overlaid with the band, the series’ story plays out alongside this hard rock track. The video also includes a ton of shots from impossible camera angles caught by using volumetrics.

     

    Along with INNI VISION, who has produced many of SiM’s music videos in the past, the production team for this release also included Taiyo Yamamoto and Naohiro Yako. Ryoji Sekimoto from Crypton Future Media and Kota Morie from MORIE INC also participated. During the video’s premiere on YouTube, the four members of SiM appeared in the chat guerrilla-style, shocking fans.

  • Universal Studios has revealed new menu and merchandise details for its Cool Japan 2022 event to be held from March 4 to August 28, 2022. Five globally-beloved anime and game series will be featured at the park this year including Sailor Moon and Attack on Titan.

  • Attack on Titan Wins Consecutive Awards Abroad

    This anime series is unstoppable! Attack on Titan previously won the Global TV Demand Award for Most In-Demand TV Series in the World for 2021. This award wasn’t only for anime, which means that Attack on Titan beat out dramas and other series from around the world including The Walking Dead and WandaVision. 

     

    At the 6th Annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards, Attack on Titan won awards in four categories, including Anime of the Year. It also won for Best Antagonist (Eren Jaeger), Best Opening Sequence (Boku no Sensou), and Best VA Performance (Yuki Kaji as Eren Jaeger). 

     

    SiM’s The Rumbling, the opening track of The Final Season Part 2, continues to chart around the world, reaching the top 10 in 33 countries on the iTunes Rock Chart and the top 10 in 39 countries on the Apple Music Rock Chart. It has been ranked in the Shazam Top 200 in 35 countries and #3 on the Spotify Global Viral Chart. It also topped the U.S. Billboard Hot Hard Rock Songs Chart on January 29. The ending song, Akuma no Ko, is also performing well, reaching #1 on the Apple Music J-Pop Chart in 91 countries.

  • Attack on Titan YouTube Channel Uploads Terrifying Track ‘Footsteps of Doom’

    The full version of the song Footsteps of Doom has been uploaded to the Attack on Titan YouTube channel, complete with impressive visuals. The song was written by Kohta Yamamoto and plays during the most memorable scene in episode 80. 

     

    By initiating the Rumbling, tens of millions of Wall Titans of Paradis Island are released, leading the story towards its highly-anticipated climax. The song Footsteps of Doom was written to complement this memorable scene and remains one of the most profound songs of the series.

  • Attack on Titan Teams Up with TikTok for Collaboration Project

    To commemorate the release of Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 2, a collaboration project with popular video app TikTok is now underway.

     

    There are three ways to participate in the #TitanChallenge on the official Attack on Titan TikTok account: the ‘Giant GIF’ featuring Titan-form Eren, ‘Lines You Know and Don’t Know’ including famous lines from the anime series, and ‘Giant Scream Quiz’ in which viewers can guess Eren’s screams in Titan form.

     

    Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 2 is currently being broadcast each Sunday. It is being simulcast on streaming platforms around the globe.

  • Ai Higuchi Announces Album Title and Track List for Upcoming March Release

    Ai Higuchi has officially released the title and tracklist for her upcoming fourth original album, scheduled for release on March 2, 2022.

     

    The album will be titled ‘Saiaku Saiai.’ (‘My Worst Beloved’).  Since her indie days, Higuchi has been a fan of using four-character idioms as her album titles. Higuchi will also be performing in Tokyo and Osaka in March. 

     

    A total of 11 tracks will be featured on the album, including Akuma no Ko, the ending theme song for Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 2. Other tracks include Massarana Daichi, Kanashii Uta ga Aru Riyuu, Kyouri, and Yamerunara Ima. The DVD included with the limited edition includes Ai Higuchi’s 5th Anniversary Solo Rakugo performed last year. 

     

    Earlier this month, Higuchi released the ending theme for Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 2, which has become a massive global hit. The non-credit ending theme video is now available on YouTube and was viewed more than 5 million times in only five days. Be sure to give it a watch!
