I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level Anime Adds 6 New Characters

The popular ongoing TV anime series I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level announced six new characters which will begin appearing following Episode 6 which aired on Saturday.

 

Ari Ozawa as Vania

 

 

Leviathan’s secretary working under Beelzebub. She can transform into an enormous beast and is in charge of looking after and seeing off Azusa and the gang to the Demon Realm. She has a frank and straightforward personality and is clumsy. She likes cooking.

 

Miku Itō as Fatla

 

Vania’s older sister and also a secretary to Beelzebub. She does everything properly and is very detailed in her work following her sister. She likes to collect moss in her free time.

 

Hikaru Tohno as Eno

A witch who lives in a cave. She doesn’t want people to know how hard she works, but at the same time she likes the attention. But after being Admonished by Azusa, she has changed the way she thinks. She is making a medicine called the Mandragora Pill.

 

 Ayasa Itō as Fighsly

 

A fighter slime who can turn into a human through physical activity. She wants to participate in martial arts tournaments but also loves money. She is training as a pupil under Beelzebub.

 

Miyuri Shimabukuro as Musura

 

A magic-user slime you can transform into a human using magic. She has a gentle personality and is planning to build a factory in the mountains so humans can’t reach it. She originally didn’t have a name and was just a ‘magical slime,’ but Azusa names her Musura.

 

Kotori Koiwai as Kuku


Kuku comes across Azusa after collapsing at a concert. Azusa takes her back to the house so she can recover. She decides to stop performing her aggressive death-style music so she can pick up her own style.

    A promotional video was released for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Kisetsu Morita’s light novel series I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level which revealed a spring 2021 release along with the main staff.

    Kisetsu Morita’s light novel series I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level has sold over 1.5 million copies. Morita launched the novel series on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2016. Yusuke Shiba’s manga adaptation debuted on Square Enix’s Gangan Online website in 2017.

    Yen Press is publishing the light novel series in English and describes the first volume: “After living a painful life as an office worker, Azusa ended her short life by dying from overworking. So when she found herself reincarnated as an undying, unaging witch in a new world, she vows to spend her days stress free and as pleasantly as possible. She ekes out a living by hunting down the easiest targets – the slimes! But after centuries of doing this simple job, she’s ended up with insane powers…how will she maintain her low key life now?!”

     

    The confirmed cast members include, Aoi Yūki as Azusa, Kaede Hondo as Laika, Sayaka Senbongi as Falfa, Minami Tanaka as Shalsha, Sayaka Harada as Halkara, Manami Numakura as Beelzebub, a Azumi Waki as Fratorte, and Riho Sugiyama as Rosary.

     

    Nobukage Kimura (Tsuritama, Gatchaman Crowds Insight) is directing the anime at REVOROOT (Babylon). Tatsuya Takahashi (Eromanga Sensei) is in charge of series composition while Keisuke Goto (Fate/Grand Order: First Order) is designing the characters. Keiji Inai (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) is the music composer for the series.
