MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON are set to head overseas again this year to participate in numerous Japan-related cultural events!
We will head to France in July for Japan Expo. This hugely popular event brings together young French fans of anime, manga, cosplay and Japan’s kawaii culture. A whopping 250,000 people attended last year’s event which was held over 4 days.
MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON will be joined by AEON and Marukome again this year.
At our joint booth with AEON they will be showing off their flash and stylish ransel line, a Japanese style backpack that you often see schoolchildren wearing. They will also have yukata on display. On top of that, AEON will be screening a special AEON-only video to celebrate Hatsune Miku’s 10th anniversary.
AEON are also holding an exclusive campaign where you can win Pokémon pins. Simply follow them on their social media for your chance to win. Prizes are given out on a first-come, first-served basis, so make sure you don’t miss out!
The Marukome booth will have its very own miso soup bar. They will be giving out free miso soup to anybody that goes over for you to enjoy some delicious Japanese cuisine. Fliers will also be handed out at the booth to promote “Nijigen no Mori,” a new theme park that is set to open in Japan in July. It will have all the information you need about it, so be sure to pick one up.
In the MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON area, we will have a photo panel that will make it feel as if you’ve stepped right into Harajuku. Whether you’ve had the opportunity to go there or dream of visiting one day, the MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON booth will deliver that Harajuku atmosphere right to you. Make sure you come over and say hi♪
We will also be covering news for the artists and idols performing at Japan Expo and taking lots of cheki photos which we will display in our booth. We’ll also have a board set up where fans can leave their comments around the photos. If you have a message you want to leave your favourite artist, then please come and visit it us in the MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON booth.
As well as Japan Expo, we’ll also be heading to Hyper Japan in London, the 2017 Comic Exhibition in Taiwan, and J-POP SUMMIT in San Francisco.
We’ll be giving out more info about all the events across our social media, so be sure to follow us to keep up to date!
