Japanese recording artist and producer Cornelius, who just released his 6th studio album “Mellow Waves” on June 28th, will hold a release party at Liquidroom on July 11th and 12th. Tickets for both days have already sold out. Anticipation and excitement is growing in the run up to his concert having just released a brand-new album.
In support of the two concerts, an exhibition is on display inside the “KATA” gallery space of Liquidroom. You can go and see a display of the CD cover for “Mellow Waves” on show which was created by copperplate painter Tadayoshi Nakabayashi.
Also available at Liquidroom right now are small versions of Nakabayashi’s latest work specially designed by him which you can purchase for yourself. Videos of Cornelius are also being played, as well as difficult to obtain items and other merchandise. It’s free to enter so you should totally check it out.
A special talk show will also take place at KATA on July 11th～13th. The talk will be a kind of countdown prior to the concert. You should definitely check this out too if you’re interested.
