Mister Donuts has teamed up with Belgian chocolate brand Pierre Marcolini to release the “misdo meets PIERRE MARCOLINI Collection” of doughnuts which hit Japanese branches on Friday (January 8).

The doughnuts are part of Mister Donuts “misdo meets” series which first began in 2017 to combine the highest quality ingredients and techniques to in order to bake up the best possible doughnuts. This time, it has joined sticky bakers fingers with the popular Begian chocolate brand Pierre Marcolini to create a new kind of fondant chocolate doughnut and danish. The line-up is made with high quality authentic chocolate and has a bitter kick to it – perfect for those who aren’t into sweeter treats. The heart-shaped danishes are also spot on for the Valentine’s season in Japan.

Floresta Nature Doughnuts, a doughnut cafe that hand-makes doughnuts using organic ingredients, is baking up Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel doughnuts this Christmas from December 11 to 25. They will be served in-store at be available to order online in Japan.

Both ring-shaped doughnuts are covered in a chocolate coating with Dear Daniel’s made with organic matcha and Hello Kitty’s with strawberry powder made from strawberries grown in Japan. The doughnuts are dusted with organic coconut flakes to look like snow and are decorated with the Star of Bethlehem.

These two doughnuts are naturally sweet and are the perfect kawaii treat to indulge in for this year’s Christmas in Japan.

Mister Donut Japan revealed last month that it is set to team up with Pokémon this winter with a special campaign starting on November 15. Before then however, from November 13, the doughnut chain will be releasing the “Mister Donut Chansey Christmas-chu Collection” of doughnuts and merchandise.

The Poké Ball doughnut has also been transformed from the classic Pon de Ring doughnut from last year and turned into an actual ball shape. It’s filled with whipped cream and coated in a strawberry glaze while the Great Ball version is filled with custard whipped cream and is coated in chocolate.

Mister Donuts Japan is releasing five limited-edition doughnuts as part of their Pon de Chocolate series of doughnuts. Three of those flavours will be available from November 6 and the other two from December 26.

The Pon de Chocolate series is a collection of chewy doughnuts and includes the Pon de Chocolate, Pon de Double Chocolate, Pon de Crunch Chocolate, Pon de Zaku Chocolate, and Pon de Caramel Chocolate.

Mister Donut Japan is teaming up with Pokémon this November as it launches “misdo Pokémon,” a campaign that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the company and includes the release of limited-edition doughnuts, original merchandise, and more.

This marks the third year of misdo Pokémon, and this year, they’re upping the Pika-fun.

This year sees the return of the popular Pikachu and Poké Ball doughnuts , both of which have been made even more breathtaking and delicious, including turning the Poké Ball delight into a fully spherical shape like the real thing.

The company will roll out even more Pokémon doughnuts throughout the campaign. Stay tuned for updates.

Floresta Nature Doughnuts, a chain of shops that sell delicious doughnuts that are healthier to your body than regular doughnuts, is collaboration with popular Sanrio characters Cinnamoroll and Cappuccino for some adorable Halloween doughnuts.

Donning their snug Halloween hats, which are made from purple sweet potato, Cinnamoroll and Cappuccino sit atop their doughnut that’s covered in white chocolate spider web and topped with a star made from pumpkin.

The doughnuts will be released at Floresta on October 17, just two weeks before Halloween, at 12:00am in Japan. They are sold individually or as part of the Cinnamoroll Hallloween Doughnuts Box which contains two of each.

Halloween arrived at Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in Japan on September 16 with the “monster HARVEST” collection of themed doughnuts. Available until November 1, the spooky lineup incorporates a selection of Japanese autumn flavours like pumpkin and purple sweet potato.

The doughnut collection is here to put us in the Halloween spirit nice and early. Krispy Kreme Japan’s popular jack-o’-lantern doughnuts are back this year, as are the new black cat doughnuts which first arrived last year. A completely new purple sweet potato flavour was also introduced to the menu on September 1.

Mister Donut Japan began holding its “Ouchi de MISDO HALLOWEEN” Halloween event on Friday which features five different doughnuts.

The event has its own story which imagines five cute Halloween creatures who have jumped out of their Jack-o’-lantern home and into Mister Donut to bring smiles to everyone on Halloween. Let’s take a look at each doughnut.

Coated in white chocolate, topped with shaved coconut, and finished with cute eyes, this ghost scared itself when it looked into the mirror.

Flapping Bat

Coated in a purple sweet potato glaze and finished with chocolate eyes and bat wings. This is the boss bat with a following of bat minions. It loves children and desserts more than anything.

Black Cat French

This is a French Cruller doughnut coated in chocolate and topped with eyes and ears. This black cats appears when the witch uses her magic. Its charm point is its nimble feet; it walks like walking on a cloud.

Swirly Pink Mummy

A chewy fruit stick coated in strawberry chocolate and made to look like a mummy. This character is a smart and cute idol in the mummy world. she has a good fashion sense and people look up to her.

Mister Donut Japan is bringing back its hugely popular purple sweet potato doughnuts from last year with a brand new, even more delicious recipe. Customers can look forward to munching on them at Mister Donut branches across Japan from September 4, 2020 for a limited time.

The doughnuts were so popular last September because of how similar they were to eating a real purple sweet potato. This year, the doughnuts are made with not only annouimo sweet potato powder, but powder made from Japan’s popular beni haruka variety of sweet potato too which is known for its high sugar content.

Mister Donut has also added a new doughnut flavour to the sweet potato doughnut line: the “Imo Kenpi Sweet Potato Doughnut,” which is topped with a sprinkling of candied sweet potato (imo kenpi).

Healthy doughnut chain Floresta Nature Doughnuts is cooking up two adorable Pompompurin summer doughnuts this month which will be available to buy at select Floresta shops in Japan and their official website between August 8 and 23.

Mister Donut Japan is releasing recipes over on its official website on August 7 which will show you how to make three of their popular doughnuts. The simple recipes are twists on the “Honey Dip,” “Old Fashioned,” and “Pon de Ring” doughnuts.

The doughnuts can be whipped up for breakfast, as a daytime snack or an evening treat, so customers can enjoy the taste of Mister Donut from the comfort of their own home.

The “Morning Ring Toast” recipe is the perfect wake-up treat made with honey dip, eggs, and ham, all of which complement each other deliciously.

“Old Fashioned Parfait” combines the irresistible crunchiness of the Old Fashioned doughnut with ice cream to create a real summertime dessert.

Finally, “Pon de Agedashi” is an indulgence for after dinner, bringing together Pon de Ring doughnuts with grated daikon radish. It’s a great snack to have with an evening drink.
