Our mission at MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON is to spread Japanese pop culture to the world - that includes fashion, music, anime, food and a whole lot more. We want to reach out to present and future J-fans in the hopes that you will make the trip over to Japan.

With a welcome increase in the number of visitors coming to Japan in recent years, we at MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON have been working with local businesses to offer products and services that are unique to Japan and also assist these companies with their localisation strategies. By employing a mix of marketing strategies, we aim to boost the local economy from inside and out.

In order to realise our hopes, we have created the 4 elements of MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON. They are 1. Our events that take place all over the world (FES), 2. Our MOSHI MOSHI BOX Harajuku Information Center (BOX), 3. Our website (WEB) and our original TV show on NHK World (TV.)

Charisma.com push the boundaries and unveil their true potential in their new album with collaborations with top creators in the industry

Tokyo electro rap unit Charisma.com have unveiled the title to their upcoming first full album as well as names of selected songs from it. The album will be the first since their major debut and will be released on March 22nd.


The name of the album is “not not me”, and was made in a chance encounter with the help of one of the top creators in the industry. The album is described as much more edgy and creative, two conspicuous elements they are aiming for.

 

PABLO a.k.a. WTF!? wrote and produced their track “#hashdark”. The album features a host of other artists, including Gouta Nishidera of Nona Reeves, Shacho of the internationally acclaimed SOIL&”PIMP”SESSIONS, the two-person girl unit Cibo Matto who are based in New York, and beat maker KO-ney.

 

“not not me” features a diverse range of fantastic artists with great individuality and who come from all sorts of different genres, pushing Charisma.com forward even more into new territory. A number of MCs are also in charge for the lyrics of each song. More information regarding the TBA tracks has yet to be unveiled, but it’s definitely something to look forward to.

“not not me”. In other words, me. If I act like I don’t notice the things that inconvenience me or hit the nail on the head through my own instinct of self-defence and instead take a step forward, I feel like I can unveil about 5 layers. But I can’t do that. Being human is difficult. But I’ve always thought that I’d like to be in that state of mind. Keeping the possibility of good and bad things to yourself I think is a wonderful thing. That’s the kind of album this is. (someday)
