The third season of the internationally acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan is set to broadcast on NHK in Japan on July 22 at 00:35.
To celebrate the airing of the new season, an Attack on Titan themed gallery will be showcased in Tokyo and Osaka, and the main key visual for it has been unveiled online. The gallery will display a huge range of detailed artwork that vividly draws out the cruel yet beautiful world of the series. It will look over the immense fight between humanity and the titans.
Advance tickets, tickets with merchandise included, and tickets with a voice guide (Tokyo only) went on sale on May 12. If you purchase a ticket with merchandise included, you’ll also receive a clear file (pictured above).
The voice guide tickets get you commentaries of the works on display from characters in the series through dressed-up voice machines. This one’s a must for fans of the anime.
In the run up to the gallery event, tickets are now on sale for a special viewing where you get to see everything before anyone else. These affordable tickets come with a pamphlet and a set of 6 limited-edition postcards and file with artwork drawn specially for the event.

Licaxxx Announces Tokyo Community Radio’s Second Event Series ‘communities’ to be Held in Tokyo and Osaka
Tokyo Community Radio (TCR), an online radio platform run by Licaxxx, has announced a new event titled communities. The event will be held at Daikanyama UNIT / Saloon in Tokyo on June 30 and at Osaka JOULE on July 1. The guest lineup includes re:ni and Laksa, two hot up-and-coming DJs and producers reshaping the UK music scene. Last year, the HARAJUKU COLLECTIVE collaboration appeared at AF Gallery in Harajuku from August 10 until August 28, garnering massive acclaim from fans. The collection is now being sold at Shinsaibashi PARCO until March 12, 2023.
HARAJUKU COLLECTIVE is a Studio Ghibli-inspired apparel collection by the popular American counterculture chain Hot Topic. Bringing more Japanese culture to the ongoing Studio Ghibli collaboration launched in 2014, Hot Topic stores began selling original items produced by nine Japanese creators and brands, as well as some original American items produced by Hot Topic’s executive designers.

It has been announced that Attack on Titan The Final Season will split its third part into two halves. The first half will begin airing on NHK General starting March 3 at 24:25. The second half will air sometime during 2023 with more details to be revealed in the future. Prior to this, a special compilation of all 87 episodes will be aired on NHK General from February 25 to February 27. Every episode of Attack on Titan that has aired to date will be condensed into seven episodes.
A new trailer has been released ahead of the beginning of Part 3 inspired by the phrase “This is Freedom.” Fans will see Eren smiling as a child, a vast difference from the man he grows to be. The despair in the video is palpable, but there is still some hope being kept alive by the characters. Finally, to commemorate the third part of The Final Season, fans will be able to watch episodes from the series for free on the streaming service GYAO! starting January 17.
