  • Sayuri’s My Hero Academia Season 4 ED Theme ‘Koukai no Uta’ Full Music Video YouTube Premiere Announced

    23.November.2019 | ANIME&GAME / MUSIC

Japanese singer-songwriter Sayuri’s new song Koukai no Uta (‘Song of Voyage’) is currently being used as the ending theme for season 4 of the hit shōnen anime series My Hero Academia. The single is set for release on November 27. It was revealed earlier this month that the single will be released digitally worldwide from Milan Records, an umbrella label of a major label at Sony Music US entitled Sony Masterworks.

It has just been announced that the song’s full music video will premiere on YouTube on November 27, 2019 at midnight (JST/effectively November 28).

Sayuri – “Koukai no Uta” Music Video (Full Version) YouTube Premiere

The My Hero Academia manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi is serialised in Weekly Shōnen Jump with over 24 million copies in print. Both the manga and anime have proved sensational both in Japan and overseas.

After having teased a short version of Koukai no Uta‘s music video in October, fans can now look forward to seeing the entire thing. The music video is fused with the world of My Hero Academia and is different from anything we’ve seen from Sayuri to date. It features an unnamed young male protagonist in a story about hope and preparation for the future, a theme which ties in with her debut single Mitazuki and her first album Mitazuki no Koukai.

Sayuri will promote the single with a series of release events for the CD. Details on venues, dates, and times are available in Japanese on her website.
