GROOVE Co.,Ltd. is releasing a new collaboration line of dolls using the Yeolume doll as a base. The first collaboration to the line welcomes none other than the iconic Vocaloid character Hatsune Miku.

  • Hatsune Miku and EGOIST Tickets Now On Sale For Niconico Chokaigi 2020

    Niconico Chokaigi 2020 is set to run from April 12 to 19, and online tickets have now gone live for the opening acts: Hatsune Miku and EGOIST.

    Niconico Chokaigi is an annual festival held by Japan’s largest video streaming site “Niconico” which aims to recreate Niconico’s virtual world in real life. The event is a melting pot of Japan’s internet culture and the biggest internet festival in the country. It teams up with various media platforms and businesses to further promote Japan’s internet culture to the people.

    Hatsune Miku are set to perform as the opening acts on the first day of the festival, April 12, at 17:00 (JST) and 19:00 (JST) respectively.

  • Tokyo Otaku Mode TOKYO Collaborates With Hatsune Miku at Shibuya PARCO

    Tokyo Otaku Mode Inc. is opening a pop-up shop in collaboration with Hatsune Miku at Tokyo Otaku Mode TOKYO which is located on the 6th floor of Shibuya PARCO in Tokyo.


    The shop will be open from December 27 until January 19 next year. Japanese illustrator hakusai is on board to illustrate the designs for the shop itself as well as the shop-exclusive merchandise. The design features Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka, Kagamine Rin and Len, KAITO and MEIKO wearing traditional Japanese dress.

    There are 10 original and exclusive pieces of merchandise with various designs to choose from. Plus, customers who purchase over ¥3,000 (tax included) worth of items will receive a special Vocaloid sticker.

    Fate/Grand Order Cafe in Omotesando

    The third run of the Fate/Grand Order themed cafe, with designs produced by Sanrio, is taking place at OMOTESANDO BOX CAFE&SPACE from September 5 to 29.

    When you book a table in advance (¥650 before tax per person) and order from the menu you’ll receive one of the above possible 16 lunch mats. And if you order a drink you’ll get one of the 16 coasters. You’ll get one of either piece of these exclusive items per item you order from the menu.

    Master & Mash Snow Field Meatballs – ¥1,490

    This dish is piled with filling sauteed meatballs and mushrooms. The cream sauce is made to look like a snowy field. It’s served with a side of jam for a succulent sweet and sour kick.

    Brynhildr & Sigurd Croquembouche Parfait – ¥1,390

    Croquembouche is often served at weddings in Italy at France. Here, it has been turned into an easy-to-eat parfait. It’s topped with salt ice cream, yogurt mousse and more, all in refreshing colours.

    TV Anime Given Themed Cafe – Listen To The Characters’ Voices As You Dine

    “XR” is an acronym compiling together mixed reality, augmented reality and virtual reality. The DIVE XR FESTIVAL is a crossover music festival that will bring together anime and game characters, online virtual singers, VTubers, AI and more into one place.

  • Hatsune Miku Magician Themed Merchandise Releasing in Collaboration With Rascal

    Hatsune Miku is collaborating with Rascal the Raccoon for the third time to release a string of merchandise for Magical Mirai 2019 in August.

    The theme this year is “magician” and features illustrations of Miku, Rin, Len, Luka, Kaito and Meiko. The drawings were designed by Tama who was the illustrator for the second collaboration. Designs will also include superdeformed characters.

    The items will also go on sale at ANi★CUTE in Ikebukuro, Tokyo on August 30.

  • Sakura Miku Appointed Official Character of Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival

    It has been announced that Sakura Miku―an alternative design of Hatsune Miku―has been appointed as the official mascot character for this year’s Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival which will take place from April 20 to May 6.

    Hirosaki Park is one of Japan’s most prominent cherry blossom sites. The park blooms cherry blossoms from its 2,600 or so cherry trees, of which there are 52 varieties, which bring in over 2 million tourists every year for the Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival. Next year’s festival 2020 will be the event’s memorial year when it celebrates its 100th run.

    The event’s main visual features a bright pink Sakura Miku with the cherry trees of Hirosaki Park behind her. This picture will be pasted around the park during the festival.


    A stamp rally will take place during the event from April 20 for tourists who can get their hands on an original postcard by taking part.


    Take part in this year’s festivals for which lots is being planned.

  • Hatsune Miku Symphony 2019 Heads to Yokohama and Osaka

    Hatsune Miku Symphony 2018-2019 was held in November last year and January this year, ending with huge success.


    The concert is set to head to Yokohama on October 14, and fans will be delighted to hear that an additional show has been announced in Osaka for December 23. It will be held at Festival Hall where it was also held in 2017.

    Fans can get pre-sale tickets until February 11 by attending the SNOW MIKU 2019 and scanning the QR code pictured on the flyers being handed out at the Hatsune Miku Symphony booth.

    Official Hatsune Miku Symphony 2018-2019 merchandise is also being sold via Warner Music Direct as well as at SNOW MIKU 2019 at the Hatsune Miku Symphony booth. Those who purchase any of the merchandise from the booth will receive one of three possible magnet clips. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Extra Merchandise Announced for Hatsune Miku’s Tokyo 150 Years Concerts

    The world’s most popular virtual singer Hatsune Miku performed at Tokyo 150 Years, an event hosted by the city of Tokyo which ran from October 26 to 28 at Hamarikyu Gardens.


    The program, entitled Koku o Asobu Jikuu no Tabi ~ Hatsune Miku Links Tokyo 150~, took place at the garden lake where Miku was projected onto a screen in the water. She donned fashion from various periods across Japanese history including Meiji, Taisho, Showa and today’s Heisei and performed a total of 39 songs in the style of a medley.

    All of the exclusive Tokyo 150 Years Hatsune Miku merchandise sold out across the duration of the event. In response to demand from fans who weren’t able to get their hands on any, a new batch is scheduled to go on sale and can be ordered from November 9 to November 30. Fans outside Japan can purchase the items via Tokyo Otaku Mode while those in Japan will buy from Columbia Music Shop.

  • Hatsune Miku to Perform at Tokyo 150 Years Event on October 26-28

    It has been announced that the world’s most popular virtual singer Hatsune Miku will perform at Tokyo 150 Years, an event hosted by the city of Tokyo.

    “Tokyo 150 Years” is the main event of “Old meets New: Tokyo 150 Years,” an upcoming festival that will take place at Hamarikyu Gardens in Tokyo from October 26 to 28 in celebration of the capital’s name change from Edo to Tokyo and the establishment of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. Hatsune Miku will perform as part of the event’s main program which is themed on “Tradition & Reform.” There will be a variety of displays showcasing the appeal of Tokyo and its culture.


    This program, entitled Koku o Asobu Jikuu no Tabi ~ Hatsune Miku Links Tokyo 150~, will take place at the pond in the garden where Miku will be projected onto a water screen spanning 30 meters wide and 15 meters tall. Projection mapping will also be used on the tea shop that’s situated in the middle of the pond as well as on the trees in the back. Miku will perform popular songs that have been released in the past 150 years while donning fashion from the Meiji, Taisho, Showa and Heisei periods of Japan.


    Japanese jazz pianist Masahiko Sato will be in charge of the music who has rearranged Miku’s songs in a jazzy style.

  • More Hatsune Miku x Rascal the Raccoon Merchandise Announced for Magical Mirai 2018

    It was recently announced that Hatsune Miku, along with Vocaloid companions Kagamine Rin & LenMegurine LukaKAITO and MEIKO, was teaming up with Rascal the Raccoon to release a line of collaborative merchandise.


    The merchandise will receive an early release from August 25, 2018 exclusively at ANi★CUTE―the official shop of Nippon Animation―as well as the Hatsune Miku live show Magical Mirai 2018 and Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair 2018.

    As well as the superdeformed character merchandise that was revealed on June 28, 2018, it was also announced that there were plans for regular proportion character merchandise too. The wait is finally over as we see a line-up of items for all 6 of the Vocaloids.


    Even more merchandise is in the works using these same illustrations. Pick them up early at one of the events or wait until the end of September where they will be available at general sale.


    Hatsune Miku x Rascal 2018 – Okkime Badge Collection (12 Designs + 1 Special Design / ¥400 each or Box Set ¥4,800 + tax)

    These slightly large badges are 75mm. If you purchase the box set you’ll get a special alternative Hatsune Miku design.

    Hatsune Miku x Rascal 2018 – Mini Square Paper Collection (12 Designs + 1 Special Design / ¥500 each or Box Set ¥6,000 + tax)

    These mini coloured papers are 120mm x 135mm. If you purchase the box set you’ll get special Miku, Rin & Len paper.
