At First Avenue Tokyo Station, you will find the “Tokyo Character Street,” an area with numerous shops themed around well-known popular characters. The world’s first permanent Crayon Shin-chan shop opened there on July 25th. The store thrived after just one week of its opening and is always crowded with people.
Tokyo Station is a place that always becomes even more packed than it already is during summer as people are returning home for the holidays. We are going to show you the top 5 most popular items sold at the official Crayon Shin-chan shop, a place that is lined with limited edition items, and items that are perfect as a gift or souvenir. This one’s a must-see for all Shin-chan fans out there!

No. 2 – Confections
If we’re talking a standard souvenir gift, then it’s gotta be sweets! The line-up of Shin-chan treats here are delectable. From the familiar “Chocobi” to the canned choco crunch, which you can enjoy using even after eating, and even assortments of treats which is sure to be a hit with the kids, there’s lots to choose from. The most popular item, however, are the ‘print’ cookies which have Shin-chan, Himawari and Shiro printed on it. Each one has its own individual packaging – perfect as a souvenir! This is one that you can only buy at the Shin-chan shop.
