Kenshi Yonezu looks back at his boyhood in the new music video for his latest single “Peace Sign”

10.June.2017 | MUSIC

The music video for Kenshi Yonezu’s latest single “Peace Sign,” which went on sale on June 21st and is used as the opening theme for the anime series “My Hero Academia,” has been released.

“Peace Sign” is described as a guitar rock tune about Kenshi Yonezu facing his own childhood. It was written for the anime “My Hero Academia,” not just about Kenshi and his time as a child, but also for children that have watched the series.

The music video itself is mostly filmed in a documentary style, something you don’t often see these days, and embodies that feeling of youth and vibrancy.

And be sure to check out Kenshi’s upcoming autumn tour! Details below.
