It has already been revealed that KOM_I, the vivacious vocalist of Wednesday Campanella, is set to star in her first ever movie roll in Neko wa Doku Mono (“The Cat In His Arms”), but a special new video has just been released detailing more information.

Neko wa Daku Mono tells the heartwarming tale of 33-year-old Saori Oishi, and her relationship with a cat, the only being she feels she can open up to, and who somehow begins to act like her boyfriend. The movie is set to premiere 23 June 2018 at at Shinjuku Piccadilly and Kadokawa Cinema Yurakucho.

The new trailer showcases protagonist Saori (Erika Sawajiri), a woman who gave up her dream of being an idol, and  her ordinary days with her pet cat Yoshio (Ryo Yoshizawa). Other characters revealed include Gogh (Kazunobu Mineta) who meets the stray cat Kiiro (KOM_I) at the “Neko Sute Bashi” (Stray Cat Bridge) where cats meet together.

The song that plays calmly in the background halfway through the video is Mayoiga no Uta, the first track for a movie ever that Wesnesday Campamella have worked on. KOM_I wrote the lyrics while Kenmochi Hidefumi, the group’s music producer, composed the music.
